WHY don’t we run ANYTHING for the last shot EVER. One of the Jays iso’s while everyone else just stands and watches. Every time, like clockwork. Why? I think Joe is a smart guy and a decent coach, but why is this always the case? Can a smarter basketball mind explain something I’m not seeing, or is this just stupidity? Why? Is this Joe’s fault or the players? I just can’t think of a logical explanation. Why?

The lack of clutch killer gene in this team is very concerning. Their record is amazing yet I somehow feel no confidence heading into the playoffs. Just don’t have faith they can get it done when it counts.

They still play down to bad teams and clutch time issues.

I feel like there is about an 80% chance that any team will hit last second shots against us.
And yes we have to stop Tatum from taking dumb highly contested fall-aways at the buzzer. He needs to draw defenses and seek wide open players. I’ve never understood the mentality that one player takes all the last second shots, makes no sense. He’s got to be under 10% at this point in those situations because they are always terrible shots.
Idk get how people are clowning the clutch offense in this game. We were scoring, but we couldn’t stop the hawks from getting middies and open 2nd chance 3s all night. I’m not pissed at the coaching, but the players for consistency sleeping on the glass.

Tatum is 40% midrange this year. 37.5% last year. 37% the year before. He’s a bad midrange shooter there is nothing more to it. I think we all hoped he was going to turn into Durant style of player but unfortunately the numbers don’t lie. Hes not turning into the reliable player we hoped. I expect to be downvoted for showing his shooting stats.
