This is Why Steph Curry Cried After Draymond’s Ejection

In Orlando Draymond Green was mad about a foul on Andrew Wiggins so he gets in referee Ray acosta’s face and starts barking immediately teched up now he’s really mad says come on man we’re having a conversation what do you think I said what do you think I said now Steph’s

Getting a little worried one more Tech and Dre is gone so he gently Pats Dre on the stomach like okay man you made your point Dre finally listens to Steph but as he walks away calls the ref a double teag out of the game that is 21 ejections in draymond’s career second

Only to Rasheed Wallace for most in NBA history but we haven’t seen this before Steph can’t believe it and as he’s walking back in clearly starts crying tries to hide his face under his jersey Draymond has broken This Man Curry is such an even killed player to get that

Reaction out of him is insane but why was he crying some people think cuz the game was so important the Rockets just won 10 in a row about to knock Golden State out of the play and they need Draymond no this was not about the game

This is bigger than that we only see Elite athletes cry for two reasons oh just a few more games down the stretch even more fun with the little Underdog last week was fun because we won but hey win or lose I only play just to have fun

It makes whatever game I’m watching a little more exciting when I’m playing pick them pick higher lower for that were more about Draymond as a friend people said his career was over after choking Rudy goar and smacking you of nkit Dre promised to clean up his act

But Steph just realized in that moment he will never change just a few days before this Dre pulled Patty Mills down by the neck and luckily didn’t get called for a flagrant it’s just a matter of time before something really crazy happens again but without Draymond the

Warriors held on in the second half because Andrew was awesome Gary Payton stepped up Steph hit the dagger three and gave the night night pose after the game Draymond hugs Steph for saving his butt but if they lost that game I don’t think that hug happen but the win didn’t

Stop the media from blaming Steph for Dre’s ejection back when he got suspended in December Stephen A Smith was the first person to say this is on Steph for bad leadership what about Steph Curry a leader If This Were a teammate of LeBron James we’d be asking LeBron

What you going to do about it now at the time that seemed like a crazy thing to say how does Draymond acting up reflect on Steph Steve cor ripped stepen a saying he’s an idiot but doesn’t he have a point I mean LeBron would be held accountable and Steph is not but

Whatever I mean Draymond came back from the suspension and played well but that idea about Steph apparently caught on EX player Jay Williams hinted that multiple NBA execs are now calling Steph out I’m getting texts from people that I really value their decision right high level people and what these texts are reading

Is well how about the leadership of Stephen Curry that’s where these conversations are going and in my brain right processing information Molly wait what do you mean how about the leadership Steph Cur calling step out yes right for him not controlling Draymond so I don’t even know what to

Make of that I mean does it mean that we think less of Steph as an all-time player okay not in the top 10 I mean I guess I can’t imagine Michael Jordan crying because Dennis Rodman is acting out but MJ and Rodman weren’t close like Steph and Draymond those guys grew up

Together in the NBA I don’t hold this against Steph at all but Draymond barely apologizes for the things that he does the one thing he did say sorry for was putting Steph in this position the last time and it’s happening again this was Dre the last time this happened because

He got crushed publicly for that I’m going to apologize public I sincerely apologize to Steph for my actions cuz that was a tough pill to swallow you have turning points in life you have turning points in careers and I’ve decided for this to be a turning point

For me and it was at first Dron not only promised to stop smacking people on the court he promised to stop the Antics in his words when he came back the Warriors started rolling from the first game after the suspension the dubs went 14- six dominating teams by 22 23 points

Behind their date with Dre on the floor they became one of the best defensive teams in the league he is averaging more points per game than he has in six seasons shooting 39% from three his best since 2016 clearly their second most important player behind Steph so for him

To get ejected 4 minutes into a gigantic game for the postseason is insane doing the same thing over and over expecting different results I mean yes it was kind of weak I mean he just kind of cursed at the ref while walking away but dude you have to know your reputation second most

Ejections in NBA history that’s why Steph was patting him like yo settle down but he doesn’t get it so maybe step broke down realizing nothing can be done people talk about bad leadership how do they know Steph isn’t doing everything he can leadership wise behind the scenes

And this happens again and that is why he broke down so maybe if the front office comes to him this off season about moving on from Draymond he will now say just do what you got to do it did feel like a breaking point but if not Draymond something big is coming the

Owner Joe lobs said in mid-February our plan one or 1A is actually we’d like to be out of the tax and we think we have a way to to do that oh but there’s only one way that means the Warriors will have about a $30 million budget to try

To resign clay and Chris Paul and add someone else that’s not going to improve this team well you want to run it back with clay and CP3 no way they have to add a lot more Talent they don’t have the money Dub’s barely a playing team

With this roster they’ve got to shake it up so the only way to do that is to move on from either Klay Thompson or Chris Paul Clay is up for an extension and would have to take a gigantic discount here I mean even if he took Draymond

Money that is 24 million a year almost their entire $30 million budget will clay accept a lot less if not dude is gone the other problem cp’s contract or maybe it’s a solution the dubs can pick up his 30 million bucks and it becomes a trade asset for a big- time deal you

Attach cp’s money to say two first round picks in two swaps that exact deal lands them Jeremy Grant Mel Bridges Julius Randall but it also means keeping CP this off season which would get rid of Klay Thompson but maybe the dubs now look to trade Draymond Green I know that

Sounds crazy because he is so important to them but what good is that if he’s constantly getting kicked out you almost never see Elite athletes break down like Steph just did so maybe something crazy like trading Draymond might just happen at least the young guys are playing well

That is really the only bright spot of this season for Golden State so I went ahead and did a redraft of the 2023 class Brandon Pinsky of course is in there way above where he got drafted at 19 but the crazy thing is where scoot Henderson goes

Stephen Curry broke down after yet another Draymond Green ejection. It came early in a really important game but that’s not what moved Steph to tears.

  1. MJ is all about business when it comes to basketball. This generation is all about their feelings…soft. If MJ was in the league errbody be crying.

  2. "If this was Lebron…?!?" Can someone show me youtube videos of the same people throwing shade at Lebron for Westbrook supposedly "wrecking" the Lakers? Videos of the same people throwing "leadership" questions at Lebron for AD costing the Lakers 2 years of mediocrity of being "soft"?

All I remember are hate thrown at Westbrook and AD but praises for Lebron…

  3. Trade Draymond, sucks that his value has gone down but he cannot be saved. Keep Klay hoping he extend for less money. Move Kuminga to a 2nd option role. Move TDJ to the starting line up. And Pods will be a quality back up PG. Sign a few veterans.

  4. he's not crying over Draymond. He's crying because of frustration and knowing that idiot's antics might cost them the playoffs.

  5. Curry's gonna have to tell front office to move draymond…curry is too good to not be in the playoffs and almost any big man could take draymond's spot and fill in the minutes.

  6. Steph is anon confrontational reaction leader, not proactive. When his eyes are off, leople don't remember his words.

  7. "If it was LeBron…" Come the fck on Steven A. You know you wouldn't say sht particularly on ESPN. You'd find all the excuses in the world: no help, anckle etc. Fck out of here… And I ain't even a Curry or warrior fanboy but he shouldn't blamed for Green's behavior. Period!

  8. I think this is half on Steph and half on dray. At this point the warriors should just trade Draymond and let kuminga get more minutes and improve.

  9. This isn't all Steph's fault. The biggest part is the coach, the organization and mostly Draymond himself. Steph can only talk to him and maybe nudge him but the coach and the organization are the real enablers here. The coach and the organization are the ones who can hold Draymond accountable. And we also got to take in consideration Steph is the franchise player but not the spiritual leader of the team which is Draymond. If this had happened before his last contract they could have implemented deductions for every fragrant and every game he is suspended. I personally think he doesn't want to be there but wants to play in LA or elsewhere. I think he is acting out to be traded for the low and of course he did this after he signed the contract cause in free agency nobody was gonna give him close to what the warriors were going to offer. He has a very predictable pattern of hitting foreign players like Nurkic, Gobert, Mills and Sabonis. He cause both KD and Poole to leave when his contract was up for renegotiating as well. His unnecessary actions can't be compensated by his talent. He can't be using excuses when he is the one following through with his flailing and kicking. This is all part of his Detroit heritage unfortunately.

  10. when i saw him cry it sort of seemed like….. You ever have a friend or family member you were close with and you saw how much happiness and life they used to have when they were young, but now they are adults and lost…. whether that is addiction, crime, mental health issues. and you tried to be there for them, you spend time effort and resources to save them. and everytime they may go behind your back or betray you, you still are still there…. and then once again they come back begging for help and you let them in and stay only to find out they stole something and ran away… and instead of getting angry this time you finally realize that the person is beyond saving… that you couldnt save them and that you have to let them go and move on. Its a devastating feeling.

The last ejection was so bad and people talked about getting him let. It seemed like the last one was going to be the WAKE UP call for him to start turning it around. and then this happens. I think Steph just realized that theres nothing he can do, that that dream of you and your boys winning together and being best friends and living at happy life full of memories. He realized he can't enjoy his legacy with dreymond. He will always act out and be ejected and be bad for the team. Someone you considered your brother and your teammate for the team and teammate for life is hard to accept that he is not a good teammate and that steph needs to just let him go and let that dream go of winning more Championships together.

  11. Yall dumb if you think this is stephs fault. That's a grown ass man. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink. Tears of frustration… I've been there. Had nothing to do with draymond being his friend

  12. How are we asking a grown man to control his equal? And believe me, Dray thinks he’s Steph’s equal. That’s why Steph is the only one that can even attempt to get Dray to walk away. We’ve already seen Steph be a good leader, why are we questioning it now? We all know people won’t change if they don’t want to

  13. Draymond isn't about the hustle and grind anymore. He's actively trying to get thrown out cause he doesn't want to play because he and everyone else knows he's not a championship caliber player anymore. All the tantrums, the lashing out, it's from an immature manchild who has not changed and WILL NEVER CHANGE.

  14. Players can cry when they lose, not just win. Shaq did in 95.
As for Curry, yea I thought the same thing, dude is clearly invested in his teammate and friend, you can tell Dray legit made a promise to Curry that he broke. As for the 'Curry leadership' bullshit, no one is going to reign in Dray.

  15. Draymond is going to really hurt someone at some point. He's not in control, he has issues. If he can't keep his word on his "turning point" with everything on the line, letting down his teammates, friends, family.. he just can't stop. Then he gets on his podcast and turns up the charm.. its such bullshit.

  16. no wonder he said he doesnt care about houston .. he doesnt even care about his team. prolly still mad lebron went to jj's podcast first

  17. Draymond is such a narcissist lmao.. and Steph is the brother who has to put up with his shit and clean it from time to time.

  18. Steph shouldn’t have let Draymond off the hook by hugging him in the tunnel after the win

  19. Warriors are chasing Lakers for the 9th seed & Rockets are chasing them behind for the 10th.

Steph knew he'd be carrying a mediocre team onwards. It's been a few season where they've been fighting for a play-in spot.

  20. You can see Steph lightly tapping him, when talking to the ref, i think he could have been more forceful and literally pushed him away from the ref but at the end of the day Steph isn't his parent, draymond is too old to not have any control. I've never really liked draymond but i can respect his game but gsw has allowed this to go on for way too long

  21. I thought Steph doesn't care much about rings and legacy and just love the GS and ready to spend his entire career here so he never asked for a trade to a better team to win more rings. But now we see he's tired of losing, he wants to compete but his best teammate let him down now. Now I think he should change his team, the warriors wasting this man prime

  22. Its on the NBA and the Warriors. Now Steph being the the leader on the team he should call him out in public. Thats what a leader does in private but if Draymond doesn't understand then its time for him to go.

  23. Great vid! I thought the exact same thing when I saw this… It's not just about the ejection. Steph reached his breaking point and probably realized he can't waste energy defending Draymond, which seemingly broke his heart in real time. Hate to see it as a Dubs fan! 😢

  24. I think Steph got told somthing about dray like if he got 2 more ejections he’s leaving the bay this offseason 😢

  25. Draymond aint got no basketball left in him, only thing he can use to make an impact on the court is rough housing, that isn't defense. His fallo off needs to be studied.

  26. Enough is Enough with Draymond you don't need him anymore y'all have four rings with this man he's basically destroying your last chance of this dynasty so what's the point of keeping him Seriously Bruh 💯🤦🏽🤡

  27. People blaming Curry are stupid! Even Curry is a normal human being, with emotions and limits. The same is for James, Giannis, KD, was for Kobe…..everybody . And everyone of us. Furthermore, Steph seems really gentle in comparison to other superstars of past and present.
I think that only MJ belongs to a differrent discussion
