The Rockets Young Core Is Special.

The Rockets Young Core Is Special.

The Houston Rockets are incredible they have won 10 straight games yes I understand you know the schedule hasn’t been the best but you beat the Kings you beat the Cavs and you just beat OKC on the road without SGA but I feel like that’s still a tough environment to play

And the rockets now getting much much better on the road we got to talk about that but the the storyline that everybody has their eyeballs on right now is just how great Jaylen green has been playing Jaylen green is playing lights out and no I don’t think it’s

Because shanon’s not playing because in the five games prior to shanon’s injury Jaylen green was averaging close to 27 points per game so even when shenon was in the lineup Jaylen green was already trending towards this heater he’s been on but without shenon the touches of course increase and Jaylen Green in the

Last 10 games on the 10 game win streak he’s averaging 28 and a half points per game 54 three-pointer 54 three-pointers made that ranks first in the NBA 41% from three when he’s pulling up 43% catch and shoot three percentage 48% on step back threes and 51% on wide openen

Three-pointers there was a point in the season where Jaylen green was shooting under 30% on wideopen three-point attempts and on this win streak on this heater he’s been on that’s at 51% which it’s number one all time if if he were to keep this up for a season which is

Unlikely mean that that would be number one all time Jaylen green has been shooting lights out as of recent and I I feel like that has kind of been the frustration with jayen green because everybody understands how gifted he is how talented he is let’s talk about the

Physical tools first 65 66 can jump out the gym then we talk about the skill his shooting stroke is great his shot is good he can handle the ball he’s hyper athletic can drive to the basket finish over defenders the package and the skill set for him to be an elite offensive

Player Elite score is all there that’s why earlier in the year the frustrations with him made you shake your head because you knew he was capable of much more but right now he’s showing it and that’s all that matters last year he went on a Mini heater after the All-Star

Break where he averaged close to 24 points per game but what he did last year compared to this year I mean it’s not even the same he’s doing it at such a higher level right now and you look at the rockets and this is one of the

Brightest Futures in the NBA you look across the roster Al PR shenon is an Allstar level player only in his third season could have made the All-Star Game this year got hurt but it wasn’t serious thank God but he’s a star Jaylen green star potential for sure I know he’s on a

Little mini heater I don’t want to go over the top yet but we know he can be a star amen Thompson the role that he’s thriving in right now what he can do in transition how fast he is with the ball his rebounding both offensive and defensive rebounding his defensive

Playmaking ability being able to turn defense into offense amen Thompson is special man this at worst is a great connector on a playoff team I’m talking about Lonzo ball if he didn’t have the shooting amen Thompson is really good and he’s just a rookie so all those skills that right now aren’t showcasing

Themselves at the highest level can improve later down the line then you have Jabari Smith Jr who can be the ultimate 3 andd power forward small ball five player for this team you have Cam Whitmore who who was averaging close to 12 to 13 points per game when he was

Playing T is hurt I’ve always loved tar dating back to when he was a rookie last season t e I think is spectacular brings toughness to a team can hit open three-point shots and then they’re going to get a top draft pick from the Brooklyn Nets that’ll be a top 10

Pick the Houston Rockets are loaded man they have all this young Talent Plus picks down the line because of what the Nets traded them for James Harden this team is loaded branching off from the young players you also have some vets van vet Dylan Brooks we can’t forget

About Stephen Adams coming back next year the Rockets right now are in Prime position to catch the Warriors in his standings and the rockets could get one of the final two playing spots it’s very likely that would be best case scenario in a year where eay comes in first

Year you’re rebuilding you want to see what you have to make the plan that would be a spectacular accomplishment but even if they don’t make it this season has been a success all around because shenon showcased what he can be Jaylen green now showcasing what he can be

Amen same thing Jabari same thing all of the players that you wanted to develop into something they are showing you what they can provide in a winning environment and I think that’s the biggest success of them all the Rockets got one of the brightest Futures I am

Kind of jealous but I wanted to kind of play a little game if you were to rank the Rockets young core from most important to least important how would you rank them in my opinion I think alpr shenon has to go number one I understand Jaylen green has been on a heater

Without him but I think that’s just because jayen green is shooting lights out right now that’s all it is when Al shenon was in a lineup green was getting similar looks he just wasn’t hitting them but in the five games prior to shenon getting hurt Jaylen green was

Averaging close to 27 points per game so he was already trending towards his heater with Al PR shenon number one is still shenon for what he can do in the post what he provides as a scorer and a playmaker I don’t think his defense is

As bad as people make it out to be number two Jaylen green off the heater he’s showing us if he can be a an efficient three-point shooter 40% three-point shooter and Rise his efficiency and raise his efficiency at all levels again finishing around round

The basket his M range shot he can be a 24 to 26 Point per game scorer that easy I think Jaylen green has that type of potential number three is amen Thompson amen Thompson could be as high as number one because the athleticism is topnotch one of the most athletic players in the

League already his speed with the ball is special his defense is special his finishing around the rim is special his rebounding is special the next step for him is getting an outside shot he needs to be able to hit the three-point ball and just getting more reps handling the ball and being

The primary decision maker in an offense those are the things that I think he needs to improve on and he’ll get there he’s just a rookie I’d have him at three number four is Jabari Smith Jr just for the steadiness that he brings three and D4 plays good defense is to hit open

Shots that’s what you need number five I’m torn between cam Whitmore and tar een cam Whitmore has more potential but I think T might fit better within a team environment because he won’t clash with other of these Stars play Styles and he also is an excellent defender in his own

Right so tar for me it’s a hard decision I’m thinking between him and cam at five but I’m going to put cam Whitmore at number five because of that potential cuzz when he’s played in had opportunity he’s scoring in bunches so so that would be my top five

Where would you rank them?

  1. Good!!! None of this clickbait bullsh*t that the Rockets are better without Sengun. Green and Sengun combo will be a problem for the West for years to come.

  2. The scary part is that Jalen, Sengun, and Amen all have generational potential. If they all hit it and I believe they will…NBA is in big big trouble. And who knows with Bari, Cam, and Tari.

  3. Thank you sir for speaking the truth…this bs about Sengun and Jalen not being able to coexist and this version of Jalen only started after the Goon injury

  4. I’m happy for the man but the question that needs to be answered… can he continue to be this type of player. Even if he regresses a little I’ll be super happy if he can be a consistent players for months/years

  5. Jalen Green had a similar performance at this time of the year last year. The end of the season, where teams are less motivated, players are rested and injuries are common, is not a criterion for success. Especially if you keep playing with teams at the bottom of the league!? The important thing is; When things get serious, will Jalen be able to carry the team?

  6. Jalen is a star he has a great coach and better teammates. Sengun took off earlier bc his game is in the paint udoka like pop likes paint touches. Jalen was given lanes and open shots but his learning curve on both ends of the court slowed him down. Now he gets it. If we get sengun back we could make a 1st rd run and grab a game or 2

  7. If Sengun is a star, Fatherhood Jalen Green is a Bonafide superstar for what he doing since all star break to me he been mvp and contending for player of the month honours (March) against the likes of Tatum, Jokic n Luka. I cant wait for tomorrows game against Dallas

  8. As soon as this guy said Jalen wasn’t playing well without Sengun, I knew he knew ball. So much clickbait to try to break up these two young stars. Respect!
