  1. Don’t agree with the headline.
    Discussion was intelligent.

I do think that for the team to contend for the championship we need somebody better than Julius — but Julius is a much better option than a replacement level player, of course.

Get back to me when we have the possibility of getting Zion Williamson or Giannis . Those players are definitely better than Julius.🤣

  2. I fully believed this was the year for him. He overcame his injury and was looking better than ever. His shot selection was better, more drives and post ups than long twos. He cooked in the in season tourney. The chemistry was better than ever. And there was so many offensive weapons for him to fall back on, the floor was wide open for him, and the defense was looking improved.

Then he got hurt and my hopes were crushed

  3. Everyone is saying sabonis is underrated which is very fair and true, but that’s REGULAR season sabonis. Post season sabonis is why he is NOT underrated in my opinion

  4. Randle or no Randle, the Knicks are toast without the roster healthy. OG being out makes them a near guarantee to be a first round knockout.

  5. Can’t wait for Knicks to get smacked and wake these horrible fans up. Knicks fans forget we were at the bottom of the pile before Randle and HE is the reason why we even have these high Playoffs hope. Prior to the Knicks he was a back to the basket player who COULD stretch the floor. He came to the Knicks and we dumped the whole championship hopes on his soldier like he came in an all star

  6. Genuine question, how is Julius Randle a 2X all nba player? He made second team one year! There’s no way he’s ever been a top 4-6 big man in this league

  7. No. Randle changed his entire shot diet this year, taking less step back jumpers and more bully ball and spraying to open shooters.

His past playoff performances were not stellar however he was injured last year and he’s a rhythm player. And the first year he made the playoffs he was miscast as a Batman and Derrick Rose was the 2nd best player on the team.

I love OG and he might be more important to this team than Randle, but this team has no consistent shot creation outside of Brunson.

  8. Celtics just played the Kings, and last night, Sabonis was a pain in the bum.
He's everywhere, and easily makes the right play 100% of the time.
Im just glad his FT form and % is trash cuz it would have been another one of those nights for the Celtics if it didnt

  9. I reeeaally don't like Randle, but it's stupid to claim that any team would be better by simply removing their second best (or third best for that matter) player is just wild.

  10. Well Og is back so we will be Ok. We just lost to Chi but next games we will win. We will miss Randle but with the emerging of Deuce, Precious with Mitchell back. We can make a deep run. But in the Offseason if we get Bridges from BK randle might be gone..

  11. I disagree. he was taking much better shots. posting up much more down low, and creating plays. you also need your second best player in the playoffs no matter what. knicks chances are much lower with him absent in the postseason

  12. Josh Hart is a better power forward than Julius Randle and he's a 6 foot 5 guard. Randle can put up numbers, but for Randle the name on the back of the jersey is more important than the name on the front. With Randle out of the way the Knicks best ball handler and scorer will have the ball in his hands at crunch time. Getting the ball to your best guy is more valuable than your second best guy dribbling into a double team and putting up a bad shot or forcing a turnover. It's a blessing in disguise for the Knicks if they can get Annunoby back healthy and Josh Hart can keep playing like the best role player in the league. Honestly, the Knicks need to trade Randle for a TEAM ORIENTED second option while his name still has some value.

  13. Randle a ball hog. He makes nobody better on the team because he selfish and thibs don't recognize his mistake and non leadership

  14. When I say the Knicks take is dumb I mean it is really DUMB. I get some fans don’t like Randle because of playoff performances but several teammates played below their standards in the playoffs. Thinking Brunson can attempt 30-40 shots a game while seeing double teams half the possessions is DUMB.

  15. Luke Kornet had Sabonis in the torture chamber in a must win game for Sacramento last night, no discussion needed

  16. Randle out puts more pressure on Mitch and Isaiah. They dont have a replacement for Julius. Hart can rebound and run with the best of them, but he just doesnt have the shot Randle has and hes not nearly as big and strong. Dont see how the Knicks can go the distance missing one of the best strong forwards in the league. Big Knicks fan, but they need everybody left on the team to have career years in the playoffs to win.

  17. So JRs 20/9.2/5 stat line isn’t needed in the playoffs? Whose is gonna matched with the other team’s 4? Josh or Dante? You think Precious or OG can play the 4 better in playoffs? Who’s the backup then? I’m not crazy about Julius but he changed his game this year to accommodate for Jalen!

  18. Randle gives you, roughly, 24 and 10. Those are Ewing type numbers. Most teams in the league can't play him straight up because he is an actual power forward (one of the strongest), skilled, and not a small forward playing out of position. They tried that nonsense with Toppin.
    Obi couldn't rebound.
Randle was commanding the fifth most double teams in the entire league.
    Fifth!
Randle gets doubled, feed Brunson. Brunson gets doubled, feed Randle, the cutter, or the open shooters in a corner. Mismatches are created. Simple.
I'm not trading that for Sabonis or anthing like that.
This is such an L take that it need a N O P and E stamped over it.
    😂😂😂😂😂

  19. Sabonis is not underrated at all quite the opposite he is bad defender cant shoot and his assists are 90% out of handoffs

  20. You should watch the 4 most recent losses. Losing to worst team in west Spurs when Brunson poured in 61 and losing to teams Knicks should beat proves they still need Randle. When Jalen B is bottled up with double teams they lack another scoring option so not sure what you watching and clearly you not paying attention and just making stuff up. Knicks keep falling in standings without Randle and OG. They are in 5th without home court and face a Magic team potentially in playoffs that is 3-1 against them. Could be early first round exit if they don’t have the home court and another step up offensive player to help Brunson

  21. I’ve watched too many DHOs where the player catching it takes 3-4 dribbles before they shoot to get more open and they’ve counted it as assists for Sabonis, I mean look up any single game highlights for him and watch how many assists are just DHOs, now I don’t have an issue with Sabonis because of this but when people put him on the same level of passer as guys like Jokic and Luka that’s where it bothers me, 45% of his assists are from DHOs when a guy like Jokic DHO assists only account for 22% of his assists and of course Luka being a PG has less than 1% as DHO assist. The level of difficulty from a cross court pass or over the top from a blitz or a kick out is much more impressive and Sabonis does have good kick outs too it’s just his passing is more on a Giannis level but gets treated so much higher because the number

  22. Without watching your vid I can see it as a stretch tho..precious can do some off what randle did but with way better defense, hustle and less ball dominance but that’s if thibs ever starts him again he was balling out of his mind early on and with him OG, and IHart they big

  23. Randles presence makes it harder to double Brunson. We don’t shave another guy as good as Randle to take some pressure off JB
