Miami Heat: As end of regular season nears, “It’s not great” | Five on the Floor

The Miami Heat have slipped to the eight spot in the East. Can they get out of there? And if they can’t, what does that mean, in terms of making the playoffs at all, and who they might play. Ethan Skolnick and Alex Toledo go through the sad realities. Is there still hope?

  1. The last time the Heat made an improbable finals run, they flamed out in the 1st round the following year. This feels really familiar to 2021.

  2. Crotty said it perfectly last night. "This team has a tendency to play down to lesser opponents".

  3. I still think this team will make a run crazy how ppl made yesterday dictate the whole season not scared of Milwaukee. have tie breaker over Cleveland Orlando and also Philly due to conference wins this team in a 7 game series can beat anybody at our best

  4. This team is not cohesively built. We have no one with a Chalmers mentality that will hold players accountable

  5. I don't think Jimmy ever said he was a one A , so the franchise screwed him a bit ,Bam and Tyler are not one A's either so Jimmy has done pretty good in carrying the team and never wanted to be carrying the team ,so quit crapping on Jimmy , if they maybe would have signed Crowder after the bubble or PJ the year after that run ,but Franchise played it too cheap ,expecting Bam and Tyler to take significant leaps ,and now at 34 you don't expect a little decline in Jimmy ,when all they have done is gotten mediocre players ,l see some good with Rosier ,but kind of inconsistent, not good defensively , and yet it's still all on Jimmy, really and don't bring up his pay ,he has earned it ,and l still don't count him out , l think he loves to prove people wrong
