It’s not a disaster. They only managed to get 3 because of other teams injuries last year. They would have been in this position last year as well.

After watching it even though I knew it was coming and it was still a kick in the soft tissue area. I for one after the first seven minutes thought they were going to loose by forty, so they fought back and I think the missing horses bit them in the ass again. Not going to get into the 'what ifs' but man alive if they just had two of eight to ten clusters fudge games back. The positive side of this is they still have a shot to stay in the top eight and if they get in anything is possible. Fox is a superstar and doesn't get any of the superstar calls. Some more good was Mitchel who has out played Ellis on both sides of the ball and is growing every game. Ellis and Jones might be the best part of this flop down the finish line. As a fan this is torture but, at least we are talking about a post season appearance instead of how the Kings are going to get screwed in the lottery or who is going to be there in the draft. Growing pains hurt, we need a few more players, add as many of these please make it feel better statements until I pass out or tip off against the Suns
we need more length and we need to make roster changes. Monte thought he could build a roster in one season, and mike brown still thinks this team can make the playoffs it’s unbelievable how they botched this season from being lazy and in wanting to win a finals
Hey Matt. Love your show. Have you noticed that last year, Brown was constantly saying “we are a playoff team,” all year? I think he got it in the heads of his players last year that they were that. This year, I haven’t heard that at all. I think the Kings have adopted a mindset that they are cooked. Sometimes you have to speak things into existence and believe you’re greater than what you’re being told by others.
Kings will be drafting Zach Edey at pick #13 after getting beat in the play in tournament.

We have Len and Sabonis, we shoulda start both to match their physicality. McGee of the bench. That’s how we should play big
Well, most likely Kings are finishing at 9 spot, since they have the tiebreaker over Lakers, while Warriors are going to play against Pelicans without Zion (most likely due to wrist injury), so they have realistic chance to beat them and get one extra win. I'm shocked of our staring 5 and I cannot imagine why Brown assembled that group through the year. Next game agains Suns and not positive.
This Kings team has zero interior presence. They’re not physical. This season has been a wash after they lost to Dallas back to back.
The most glaring thing is during the clutch, they somehow fall apart. Fox deserves better and Kings fans deserve better.
With all the great teams next year sac should look to blow it up and trade fox and sabonis next year for assets and execute a okc style rebuild and try for the stacked 2025 class led by cooper Flagg
