  1. Celtics haven't been battle tested. They're just blowing out teams, cuz the East is so weak. They will choke again, when the lead is only 5 points in the final 5 minutes

  2. They are not going to win a championship. They have too many break downs in the 4th quarter against good teams.

  3. What slump? They won nearly every regular season game. It’s okay for a team to lose. What left do they have to play for when they clinch the division and both conference.

  4. Not nervous at all. I didn’t expect them to win the chip this year regardless. However, even if I did this literally means nothing other than it shows how little effort they have when they think they have things “won.” This is why they lose close games, late. Good thing that they win most games by massive blowouts.

  5. It's rare that a team clinched the top spot so early but that is what happened with them. People wondered how they would play after that OKC game when they claimed the top spot officially. Regular Season accolades don't matter for them now it's all about the playoffs and their fans would say the same.

  6. It's amazing how weak the East is. Just ONE team over 50 wins with a CHANCE for 3 of them. Meanwhile the West has 5 of them with a chance for 6. The Celtics MIGHT make the Finals but they are NOT the best team in the NBA. And I am really looking forward to another Brockman Mental Breakdown where he calls Taytum a fraud superstar again.

  7. Nervous?
Team been sleepwalking like full two weeks.
It doenst matter how we play now.We will play only after one week when regular season ends.

  8. Warriors went all out for the 73 wins and it didn't end with a title. Yes Boston could have gone for 70 wins but unless it comes with a title it doesn't matter.

  9. Celtics are getting into playoff form right now. TD Garden needs some people courtside who can do the heimlich.

  10. Celtics fan here….we should be worried. They can't turn it on and off….Joe isn't helping and doesn't know what a timeout is.

  11. 0.0%. Means absolutely NO THING. Less than nothing. It's filler to talk about until they drag the dead horse offstage and start the playoffs. Moving along now….

  12. No worries. The Celtics can and have been flipping a switch. They lose to the Hawks twice and now to the Bucks and Knicks but to clinch home court throughout they best Nee Orleans soundly on the road and then beat the stuffing out of OKC. And while OKC didn’t play SGA in the game they still considered it a “statement” game and WANTED to kick their asses. Those games were only a week and a half ago so…

It’s hard to manufacture urgency – especially against two teams that had great urgency and NEEDED these games.

Let me put it another way: what would Eisrn and crew be saying if Joe Mazzulla played everyone all the time at full speed and Tatum or Brown or Porzingis got hurt as a result? The Cs and their coaches would get crucified for having played them hard in “meaningless” games. “Are you guys idiots?!? What are you doing?!? These games are meaningless!! Why are these guys playing/trying?”

I guarantee that would be the leadoff on some dopey show like First Tske or whatever…

  13. I’m only worried because the Celtics haven’t won anything to be sleepwalking. As a fan I want them to finish strong.

  14. Celtics fans might be the most toxic fanbase in the entire NBA universe, and that’s coming from a fellow Celtics fan in myself. Why are we as a fanbase concerned about games that have no statistical advantage nor disadvantage to us? The Celtics are playing the long game here, and I expect these next two games against Charlotte and Washington for the players to play heavy minutes to get themselves in playoff form and have a rhythm going into the first round. WE ARE FINE.
