The Ultimate Trail Blazers Team
In this series, I assemble what I believe is the greatest team possible for each franchise. In this specific video, we’re looking at the Portland Trail Blazers.
5 starters, 5 backups, and 3 rotations players. A total of 13 roster spots on each Ultimate Team. It’s not just about talent, but it’s about building a team that works and gels together.

The game of Basketball has been my passion since I was 5 years old. I grew up as a kid watching my dad’s recorded VHS tapes of playoff games through the 70s and 80s, and collected all the Basketball cards. Something about the game and what it represents just hooked me from a very young age.
My love for the game only continues to grow as time goes on. I love studying and analyzing the game, with an unbiased perspective. Feel free to subscribe, follow me on social media, and celebrate this amazing game and it’s rich history with me!
I post videos every week on NBA history, predictions, hypothetical scenarios and current NBA topics.

Only 2 teams left in the series, the Warriors and Wizards. BOTH of those teams will be included in the upcoming compilation video, and if you're looking for only them, there will be timestamps in the pinned comment.
Would the Blazers have a chance at making the West playoffs??
One of the strongest teams is still left, the Warriors. Cant wait
The biggest "what if" franchise in the NBA ladies and gentlemen
Portland had some ballers! They should have at least 1 Championship maybe 2, especially that blown opportunity vs Shaq and Kobe.
Oh goodness, Randolph in addition to Lucas, Sheed AND Aldridge?!
That's an emotionally disturbed PF rotation if I've ever seen one. I'd ditch one of Randolph/Sheed and add Jerome Kersey.
Basketball sucks
When looking on Basketball Reference, at Scottie’s stats with the Blazers, I completely forgot his 1 season with Houston 🤦
If the injuries are off this team can do some damage
There's that one team in the 4 major sports leagues that isn't the most cursed, but is still quite snake bitten ever since their breakout decades ago. The Flyers losing a Stanley Cup Final at least once every decade after 1975, including one to a team with one of the worst scandals in recent memory, the Dolphins wasting one of the best quarterbacks to ever grace the NFL and then becoming mostly irrelevant after that, and then there's the Portland Trail Blazers. Injuries, terrible draft picks, being second rate, choking in big game moments. No matter what it is, since 1978, there's always something holding this franchise back from being one of the greatest in sports history. Shout out to fans like Cosgrove for sticking through this.
On paper, this roster looks great (besides SF, but they desperately need perimeter defense, so Cliff Robinson being a starter isn't bad whatsoever), but they will find a way to disappoint their expectations. And to be honest, I think Denver will prevent this team from reaching the playoffs sadly in the final play in game. Let's see if I'm proven wrong though, because I don't got much else bad to say about this team.
See you for the final video with the Warriors and Wizards.
Great list! Would switch Zach Randolph for Jerome Kersey but everything else I agree with.
Was not Kiki Vandeweghe like giga boss in his Denver/Portland days? XD i belive he was like 25++ scorer, who was popping off times and times for 50 pts games (in the 80s!!!!) and was a multiple time all star? I would deffo take Him over 35y old Pip,
Dame, BRoy, Clyde, LMA and Scottie on the floor as a small ball lineup would be terrifying.
Good defensive squad with Cliffy, Porter, Sheed, Scottie and either Walton or Sabas.
I like their chances in the west. Even without Duckworth, Buck Williams, Steve Smith, Mighty Mouse, Jerome Kersey, Drazen, Strickland or Blazers legends Marcus Camby and Joel Przybilla.
Good squad!
Please stop spreading the myth that Dame is clutch just because of a few game winners. He's a horrible playoff performer past the 1st round of the playoffs the few times he's made it that far. In 2019 McCollum carried the Blazers in the 2nd round. They got swept in the WCF but every single game was close going into the 4th quarter and they could've gone to the finals if Dame was as clutch as people pretend he is
i would have cclyde at the 3 & move bbrandon roy to starting lineup at the 2
My Portland All-Time
1.Damien Lillard
2.Brandon Roy
3.Clyde Drexler
4.Lamracus Aldridge
5.Bill Walton
Nick batum and Wes Matthew’s missing from the Honorables
Sabonis >>> Walton and it’s not even close.
Great video as always!
Zach Randolph over Damon Stoudemire or Drazen Petrovic, is a questionable decision!!
Replace Robinson with Kersey and it looks good to me
How is Brandon Roy not starting
