In the final game of the regular season The Knicks did not disappoint and was able to secure the win and the 2nd seed in the East in a thrilling 120-119 overtime win against The Bulls. Jalen Brunson had his 11th 40 PT game of the season. The Knicks now look to the Playoffs where they will face the winner of the 76ers Heat play-in game.

Our reward for a 2 seed is Philly or Miami. Yikes. Philly has a healthy Embiid and Maxey, and everyone knows Spo coaches circles around Thibs. Not feeling too confident.

Absolutely incredible that with all the injuries we had this year we still managed to win 50 games and get the 2nd seed. This a testament to the while org. From front office to coaching to the players. This season was one of the best.
Bill Pidto is so good at what he does. Conducts the show, asks the right questions, never interrupts and injects just the right amount of levity. A true professional.

Let's not forget that before Mitch, and Randle got injured and before the OG trade, this Knick squad was once the second unit. Brunson is the only starter from the season opening. The way Brunson is carrying a team with no second star is incredible. All of the other teams going into the playoffs have at least one, two, or even three or more stars playing together. Bucks have Giannis, Dame, and Middleton. Celtics have Porzingis, Tatum, Brown, and Holiday. Lakers Have LeBron, and Davis. Denver has Jokic, and Murray. Phoenix has KD, Booker, and Beal. Warriors have Curry and Thompson. Heat have Butler, and Adebayo. Indiana has Siakam, Halliburton, and Turner. Atlanta has Young and Murray. Dallas has Luca and Kyrie. OKC has Shai Gilgeous Alexander and Holmgren. Minnesota has Anthony Edwards, Towns, and Gobert. All of these teams are loaded with role players as we as deep benches. Knicks are playing their bench with only one star alone by himself, and that's Brunson. And for credits to coach Thibs, he managed to get the team to the second seed in the east and win 50 games. So, I strongly feel that Brunson should get the season MVP, and coach Thibs should get coach of the year award for what little he had to work with.

Wally is 💯 correct. Only dopey fans would not want the 2nd seed because they're worried about either Miami or Philly. If you're going to get where you want to go you have to beat whoever you play. If the Knicks are good enough to make the ECF then who they play doesn't matter. They have to beat them period.
