I really enjoy the analysis, there was just a few times when you compared two different stats, like the non Luka non kyrie mags catch and shoot % compared to the whole clipper team catch and shoot %
People talk about how NBA has gotten worse. But you didn't used to get conference finals level matchups in 1st round. In general so much more partity and far less predictability when it comes to playoff series.

I think one key you didn’t mention was clutch game wins. Mavericks are number 1 in clutch games and even a few of the losses came down to anomalies such as Cavs half court heave and vs gsw a missed travel call by Klay. That’s 2/7 losses in clutch and i believe they have 70% win rate in those games already

You're wrong about Ty Lue over Jason Kidd. I personally think Kidd is going to noticeably outcoach him. Kidd having the Mavs playing their best ball to end the season is no fluke.
One thing which people forgets is LA has playoff harden. He massed up so many times. I wish this series to go 7.

Problem with Mavs is their bench is shit.
Luka always performs. If he's not making shots, he still accounts for a lot of assits.
Kyrie the same, although he's not as dominant of a passer
Gafford seems to be resilient and consistent. Always playing with confidence.
Lively similar, very consistent but still a rookie and lacks experience
PJ is a a jack of all trades. Consistent on defence, but still lacks confidence shooting and is underperforming from previous year averages.
Exum seems to be the guy you can rely on, also in the clutch.
Tim hardaway jr can't get his shooting together and definitely not reliable to help win a game.

If the mavs had their current roster for the whole season they would be pushing denver, thunder and t-wolves for the first seed and i don't think these teams would be seen as teams of the same quality like they are. Since the trade deadline they have the third best record in the league while the clippers are 16th!
