What's the biggest need for the Raptors in the offseason?
I’m thinking they need to go for Tyus Jones and free agency or if they’re not gonna get a big in the draft probably go for Nic Claxton and then they should resign Gary and quick
Ths season cant be judged this season. Its to be judged starting of Next season, game number one. This season is to take a step back to take 2.16 step forward next season.
If they Draft the right player and do good in free agency, you see a huge swing in the pendulum for the Dinos.

Simple. Shooting is king now. Dennis and pascal were NOT shooters. Scotties shot fell off after his hot streak at the start. Poetle is a non shooter. Garys shot was not falling
It was literally only OG who id consider a reliable shooter

What were the no critical mistakes jusr many major injurys and adjusting to a new system at the first of the season
The biggest problem with this season was the decisions they made LAST season. LAST season was when they should have been tanking. Instead they hung on to players who they ended up losing for nothing (FVV) or far less than they could have received last year (Siakam)…and traded this year’s pick for Poeltl. As a result…they got a lower pick in last year’s stacked draft, and they significantly clouded the picture on what their direction should be this year.
Worst mistake was trading pascal… huge waste…we can make up for it by extending Barnes then trading him

The problem early on was playing threw barnes and then gary and gradey getting off to extremely slow starts
Imo this roster just sucked and wasnt going to win much. Us Raps fans are used to having a winning team since the DeRozan/Lowry days so I feel like this hurts.
What made me lose confidence in Masai is when he passed on Maxey for Lowry

Typical Toronto move going all in for a play in rather then tanking in a stacked draft with a handful of potential HOF players and then tanking for a draft featuring a couple role players. Unbelievable!!! Really could have had 5 or 6 draft picks in 2023….. SICKENING!!
Once Barnes went down with the wrist injury that was it I believe Toronto would have contend for a play in spot
A portion of the fanbase has embraced this tank and are even calling for one next season of draft picks. Whenever i hear about the locker room i hear that spirits are high and people are in good spirits while they keep losing. There seems to be not a care in the world from anyone tied to this roster.
I stopped watching this team play this season shortly after the all-star break. I listen to pods to see how badly they lost. I have zero desire to spend any of my hard earned money on anything Raptors related. And if Darko and his coaching staff come back i'll pass on watching this team until they're fired. Raps need a real head coach not a guy pretending to be one. I also want a head office change Bobby and / or Masai need to be fired. It's insulting that they trotted out a bunch of bench warmers and g-leaguers to "evaluate" knowing full well that these guys aren't very good. Couple that with the increased ticket prices…..why pay attention to these guys?
I so agree with your analysis. No preparation, no plan. This is not going to get better unless they get rid of coach. So many choices, and they chose a loser coach 😢.
