  1. With Zion shooting 41% from deep and 57% from mid range and 83% from the free throw line they're unstoppable..

  2. People sleeping on the pelicans heavy, they’re one of if not the deepest team in the league and can honestly beat any team

  3. Pels will win their 1st round matchup. They have the pieces. Just need Ingram to come back healthy and not try to do too much.

  4. So many of their problems come from the Pels getting scored on, CJ bringing the ball up and looking for a quick 2, and missing. His unwillingness to pass when he's looking to stop a run is literally what gets this team down 8+ pts quickly. He refuses to wait for a set offense or defer to his teammates when he's stressing like that. It works when he hits those shots but it's very high variance

  5. honestly, I don't think this team is going to win a series, let alone more than 2 games. i do not think that outside of Ingram and Zion, their offence is not going to be very good at all. I also know that teams are going to be attacking their starters on offence, due to the fact that ingram, zion, valanciunas and mccollum are not good defenders by any means, and it does baffle me at how good their defence is considering how bad these players are defensively. when matched up with the thunder as mentioned in this video, i understand that the Pelicans have more size for sure, but the Thunder's offensive(and defensive) capabilities are better than the pelicans. Like the only person on the Pelicans that can guard Shai is Herb jones and MAYBE Murphy/Ingram. then you have to deal with Jalen williams, who Zion can''t guard to save his life(or in general), and then it would probably fall onto murphy or ingram again. Valanciunas can't keep up with Chet, neither can larry nance. and then on the other side, Lu dort is capable of guarding mccollum, zion or ingram at a time, which the pelicans don't have someone who can do that. also let's not forget how great of a defender Shai and Jalen Williams are, like I understand that the pelicans have shown themselves as taking a step this season, but i dont think they'll continue their success or level of play in the playoffs

  6. This is the only year in my lifetime when I could make a case for literally ANY team making the playoffs in the west. 1 through 10. Absolute insanity. Meanwhile in the East…well…there might be some good match ups, but nothing like the bloodbath of the west.

  7. I agree I’m excited for this playoffs and the west is going to be a bloodbath given how loaded it is lol

  8. I already have had two Lakers fans tell me they want to play the Pelicans because they know the referees will rule in their favor and not in favor of a small market team.
I found it hard to argue with them about that

  9. Remember that episode in Friends? When Chandler and Ross had a arm wrestling match, mona said they are both strong, and Joey went "Or equally weak!".

It might just be the latter. Nuggets and Mavs are the only two west teams look like real contenders to me.

  10. Zions isnt that guy, massive regression from 27-7-7 with 1 steal 1 block to whatever the hell he does now

  11. The Lakers had no business making the playoffs this or last year. The free throw differential is so insane, and it’s completely obvious when you watch one of their games that the officials are purposely handicapping their opponents. Just recently the Lakers played Minnesota and had over 20 more free throws. I forgot to mention that both Lebron missed the game and AD sat out for 3 and a half quarters. The Lakers now have shot more free throws than their opponents in 19 of their last 20 games. The one game they didn’t they were outshot by 4 free throws. The Lakers now have well over a +1000 free throw differential over their opponents since the beginning of last season. This is the highest in the league. Second place is the Knicks who barely crack +350. That’s right! The Lakers have over 3x the free throw discrepancy as second place. You could add the discrepancy of the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place teams together and the Lakers would still be well ahead. It’s ridiculous!

Corrupt league! The League and the Lakers outright robbed the Pelicans of a top 8 pick last year and a real chance at Victor Wemblayana or Scoot Henderson. They will rob them this season of a top 10 pick and they will almost certainly rob them next season of another high draft pick. No team should be dumb enough to ever trade draft picks with the Lakers. A GM would be a moron to do so. The League will ensure that pick is as worthless as they make it.
