Zion Williamson’s injury cost New Orleans Pelicans a Play-In win over LeBron James and Lakers
In the first postseason game of his career Zion Williamson delivered for the New Orleans Pelicans by scoring 40 points. Jake Madison says that if it wasn’t for a late game left leg injury to Zion, the Pels would have beaten LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers. Jake also explains why it was the correct decision to bench CJ McCollum and Brandon Ingram in crunch time.

Pels need to trade BI, Zion, CJ, Jonas and Nance. Jose, Hawk, Herb, Trey, Dyson need to be the new core, along wirh a new defensive big.
There's nothing going on here it's pretty much scripted, if you watch the whole video you'd see he points to the coach then he reaslizes coach wanted to take him out 99-99 scores, and was clearly upset that he's out also to solidify this the coach never played Ingram in the 4th Qaurter, this was a scripted win to make the game competitive but to botch the game down the stretch with "phantom" injuries.
This is just pathetic tell yourself whatever you need to the lakers were selling and regardless the pels never took the lead after the second half lebron started to sell so hard very entertaining game
I mean u may u may not even with him they had a big lead and they always get better shots on clutch time, the data supports that, so it was a 50/50 with zion on the floor

Claiming certain victory in a tied game is some lame loser shit.
That's why the previous game last Sunday was so important. Zion was completely unstoppable. Unfortunately CJ and Ingram were nowhere to be found. Either the defense shut them down or they just had a bad night but it was to the point they were unplayable down the stretch.
Zion injury again. dude is soft trade him. Pels have no future relying on a guy who has no commitment in getting in shape
BI doesn't need to be traded. he's moving to another team. He should go to the Jazz, they don't have a go to guy there, Lauri can play with anyone, Their coach is more talented than Willie. they have rim protection and a 3rd option scorer.
Once again Jake, I have to say that the Pels need a starting pg to run this offense. I know you continue to say that they don’t but I disagree.
Kind of hard to have confidence in a team that hasn’t been clutch all year, but I was hopeful until Zion got hurt.

You don’t blow a lead and fall down by 18 and just get happy because you made a comeback,it looked like Lakers took there foot off the gas and Zion got off but you don’t know who would have won ,plus Davis looked like he was playing injured also Zion needed to suck it up and finish the game

Let's keep it real, the Lakers were going to let the Pelicans win this game once they saw Zion going off, because the Lakers or the Pelicans didn't won't to play Denver and I don't believe Zion is hurt, we just don't want to play Denver, I'm happy for the lost, we have a better chance now that we have lost to the Lakers to make way in the playoffs
