As to the statement “Jalen Brunson is not the most efficient “— that is technically true: the most efficient player using PER (player efficiency rating) this season was Joel Embiid before he got hurt. Since he didn’t qualify with too few minutes after that, the next most efficient qualifying player, this season was Nikola Jokić.
Jalen Brunson was about the seventh or eighth most efficient in the league so technically he is correct.
But seventh most efficient is really really good, and the third best guard behind SGA and Luka. Which is excellent. I’ll take Jalen any day.
