Jontay Porter appears to be the Fall Guy so that the NBA looks like it's policing the problem, when it is widely understood that betting has corrupted the sport (even some of the players and coaches have claimed this). The NBA image problem remains despite Silver's attempt to whitewash the problem. I am thinking about cancelling my TV subscription, because I am thoroughly disgusted that every other TV ad, even during pre-game and free throws, is trying to get me to throw money at these scoundrels (betting companies) that are in bed with the league.
The woman on the panel is dumb, all that fool had to do was not bet on the NBA! He could have bet on Football, baseball, MMA anything but the NBA and the same goes for players in other sports. Don't bet on the sport you play, how hard is that?!
