I think Grayson got a fair contract. He’s in a very good situation for his game. He had a good shooting year (shooting % fluctuates year to year and isn’t closely correlated with overall skill). Plus, most guys perform better in years where they’re impending free agents.

Given that the luxury tax line is 170 mil next season, I don't see 4-year 70 mil being an overpaid contract at all. People need to realize that the salary cap has grown over 120% for the last decade.
