To this day i don't understand why everyone just concedes that the Warriors without KD would never beat the Cavs…..they were uo 3-1 and it took a herculean effort by Lebron and Draymond being suspended for a game

I'm not trying to make this about LeBron…. I'm not…but how is KD going to Golden State not the ultimate example of how good he is? The greatest regular season team of all time went begging for the incredibly talented and future HOF player in KD to join them just so they could beat Cleveland. KD isn't an all time top 10 player, but if he doesn't get hurt again, he will be knocking on that door and the fact that he and Golden State had to link up just to beat Lebron is always lost in the sauce.
The thing is that KD does get credit for what he did with the Warriors, however when you're one of the 75 best players ever and someone who many consider a top 20 player of all time, the manner in which you accomplished your championships has to be taken into account, when comparing you to your other elite peers. If Jrue Holiday, who is an excellent player btw, did what KD did, we wouldn't still be talking about it the way that we are with KD.
