Just Leaving This Here as a Reminder

Our guy may have had the lowest point in his career in sac, but I also like remembering the highest.

  1. i’ve never been more confident that he’ll be back. he just needs to find his old man game

Not to say the last game wasn’t a low, but the dude tore his ACL during the finals when he was at his prime and couldn’t play for nearly 2 years. Pretty sure he’s already been thru his lowest moments. I wish everyone – opponent fans and even Dubs fans – would stop making a single game loss into some career defining moment for not only Klay but the team. We as fans have been to the mountaintop 4 times, 6 if you include the losses. We’ve been through let downs before. Losing 1 game & ending a season early shouldn’t be some existential crisis moment. Even if they made a decent run thru play offs a lot of the same issues about who we bring back would still be there. Idk I’m just tired of the narratives and especially other fan bases and talking heads acting like that one game meant more than it did.

At any rate, it still is good to see old clips of Klay balling out.

Cool to see again but the first thing I notice when I watch that is that Klay does not move like that anymore

    Klay was a “God”

But, in this earth, “Gods” are mortal. Klay is indubitably crashed down and become a normal human, unfortunately.

This is year 2 of him laying eggs on the biggest games of the year (playoffs and play-in)

    Btw, LOVE YOU KLAY!!

  5. Perfect ending for him would have been retirement after the last championship. Comes back from massive injury and helps win them a ring right away. Ride off in to the sunset.

His shoot form has definitely changed. Just the way he was shooting back notice no fade aways
