Trae has the best offensive awareness in the league. If he can get a scrub like John Collins to get 20+ ppg, think about what he can do with Wemby. Scary thought.
Why do people think Trae Young is a good fit for the Spurs? He would need to adjust his pay style completely, and he is clearly not willing to do that. He is a "I am the system" type of player. Also Matas Buzelis is an atrocious defender according to the metrics.
We thought that the Spurs would win a significantly larger number of games with Wemby coming on board this year. We were wrong. Some think that Trae is a Spur and "guarantee" that he will fit. Thank God that the Spurs have people who are a lot better at making those decisions than fans.

What’s out of pocket with what he had to say about partying and alcohol and drugs? That’s his mindset about those things and that’s pretty incredible for a young guy like him. I partied and drank a lot when I was young, and in retrospect, I wish I didn’t. People just be projecting their own problems and insecurities to others. A hit dog will always holler.

Players contacting each other is not against the rules. What IS against the rules, is the front office contacting players that are currently still apart of another team.
