Charles, these things rarely just happen. Think back to the 1980's – mid 1990's did you see a lot of the superstar players go out with injuries, miss a ton of games. Jordan, Pippen, Karl Malone, John Stockton, Kobe, Magic, Bird, Drexler, Barkley, Dr. J, Michael Cooper, Byron Scott, Reggie Miller, Isiah Thomas, Joe Dumars, Lambeer, Rodman, Ewing, Oakley, Starks, Mark Jackson, Dominque, etc etc. These guys were "DURABLE", strong, tough, long lasting. The players today are weak, participationn award weaklings. Even if you have a freak injury its probably due to bad diet, bad training both off season and on season. With the league not allowing strong defenses to be played, if you breathe on a player driving the lane, the refs call foul. This league is so much easier for bad players to look decent and the majority of them can't stay healthy and then demand max contracts. Jokic has been health before he won the NBA Title and League MVP and is healthy now.
Kawhi is my favorite player and he had a good chance of being on the mount rushmore of NBA Greats if he can win a ring with the Clippers but for fucks sake dude you can't stay healthy for an entire season and your team is garbage without you? I am dangerously close to being completely done with Kawhi Leonard.

I'm big Kawhi but for the Clippers, they need to move on from Kawhi. I'm still surprise they extended him. Kawhi should consider retirement, his knee is a problem, if you can't be competitor at your 100%, you just done.

This is exactly why I cannot pick the Clippers no matter what, it's always someone missing a game or something stupid like this…the Clips cannot be taken seriously if guys are going to be out and honestly they lack heart and size to win it all, they'll resort to fouling people…all I know is if the Clippers make it to the WCF then perhaps Leonard will not play in 3 of the possible 7 games for any reason…so I don't need to watch them play they aren't serious.

Kawhi Leonard is still a great player, he’s had bad luck with his injuries, he’s not the first superstar to have a short career because of injuries ,Penny Hardaway ,Tracey McGradys back issues Grant Hill,ankle, just to name a few ,and they never got a ring,so I think it’s unfair to hear some if the criticism Kawhi receives, and let’s not forget he’s already won two rings and pretty single handily with Toronto, and to say he doesn’t want top play and doesn’t put the work into his ludicrous, lI’m a big Leonard fan and think he’s one of the best players in the NBA on both sides of the ball and no doubt he makes an impact and any team when he’s on the court/healthy ,,and I really wanted to the Clippers compete with all their star players in the game this season, I’d rather see them lose with all their star player’s than without them , I don’t believe they have a chance without Leonard on the floor,I’m disappointed if he doesn’t return, maybe their trying to stall another game to give him a chance of playing, I’m going to still pick the Clippers to beat Dallas ,Go Clippers !!🏀🏀

If Kawhi is not able to guard Luka in the 4th quarter in the first game than the Mavs will easily win game one over the clippers. Kawhi was the key factor in the Clippers victory over the Mavs last time they played in the playoffs. If for some reason Kawhi misses the whole series than it’s gonna be a sweep because without Kawhi the Clippers don’t matchup well with the Mavs.
