The Sacramento Kings destroyed the Golden State Warriors in their first 2024 NBA Play-In Tournament matchup, giving them a shot at the playoffs. The Kings executed extremely well on defense, with Keon Ellis matching up against Steph Curry for a large portion of the night with great success.

Additionally, the Sacramento Kings ran a good amount of their offense through Keegan Murray, and he looked virtually unstoppable both shooting off the catch and off the dribble.

Now that we’ve seen the Warriors knocked out of the postseason, the question on everyone’s minds is if this is really the end of the road for the dynasty. And if it is, it was the Sacramento Kings who drove the final nail into the coffin.

  1. I knew it was possible the kings could beat the warriors but i didn’t expect the kings to dominate the warriors in the fashion they did. This loss was the final nail in the coffin of the warriors dynasty. But shoutout to keon ellis he’s been really good since replacing kevin hurter in the starting lineup and glad he balled out in a bigtime game on a national stage

  2. Honestly they did it to themselves with continuous poor decision making. Having Steph just makes it not look as bad

  3. I'll ne er use the play in as a measure of which team is better. Anything can happen one game. Kings have yet to beat them in a series and I'm not sure they could have.

  4. The problem is that Klay might not take a pay cut, so it all depends on what he wants, if he wants to continue being a warriors he’s gonna have to take a pay cut so that the warriors can make moves. This offseason is going to be interesting. People are over exaggerating over one play
-in game. Warriors record wasn’t even bad, this season the west simply was crazy. It’d be different in a 7 game series, but you’re talking about a one game elimination round….

  5. Warriors young players just waiting for vets to retire so they can became the next stars. I dont see anyone giving maximum effort to help Steph win another ring, they dont believe.

  6. Just because the dynasty is dead doesn’t mean they’ll be shit. Just wanna tell the warrior stans

  7. All I know is , there is always going to be a dominant nba team in California every decade!!!

  8. I was really impressed with KeaganM last year I thought to myself this guy is gonna be good.

  9. The Kings didn't defeat the Warriors. Klay's ego, Draymond's accountability, Kerr's gut, Steph's laid back personality and Wiggs' inconsistency defeated themselves.

  10. I think the Warriors should trade Jonathan Kuminga and Kevon Looney for two draft picks. They can work with Trayce Jackson and Moses Moody.
