Mavs had a lot of good looks but just didn’t make them. I saw Kyrie do a bounce pass from half court to someone and he went for a reverse and absolutely bricked. Shots weren’t falling and you can tell they weren’t because 8 points in a quarter is insane work💀
There was only one Team on the Court that was prepared and had an Idea how to win the Game. I feel like the Mavs will have huge Problems finding rhythm. Luka + Kyrie need to score 80+ for a win in my opinion

Media never knows anything cuz the playoffs is a different game. This clippers team is built to make a run. And Dallas just doesn't have the experience 😊
The problem was simply that the ball didn't want to go in for the Mavs, just a bad game.
Just look at the role players numbers: 0/4, 1/5, 1/4, 1/5, 0/5… you CAN'T win like that when LAC role players were landing their shots, PG and Harden made very contested 3s while Luka and Kyrie were missing by mere inches or the ring spitting the ball out each time.
Just a regular night of Luka and this game is tied or even won by the Mavs, just a regular game by the role players and DAL wins easily.
The others for Dallas looked a lil shell shocked i think we will see a better outing from them in game 2 with their feet wet in this playoff setting.

I predict a lot more post ups from Luka because the Clippers have shown they can handle the pick and roll. And obviously, the role guys for the Mavs need to hit their threes and really attack the closeouts. It was crazy to see the Mavs role players freeze once the ball got to them. lol
I'm not disrespecting the Clippers, but they didn't make Dallas shoot 20% (or whatever it was) in the first half. Nothing was falling. I saw some possessions with 3 missed layups. They did successfully take away the lob game, but we couldn't buy a shot. I'd say the only thing we learned was that the Clippers without Kawhi can still be a pretty good team.
I used to love JJ Reddick, but he’s a Luka hater now so I’m a JJ Reddick hater now too. Luka must go into Luka mode and win this series. J Kidd did not have his team ready for this game. That’s on him. Resting Luka and Kyrie for the last 2 games destroyed their momentum. Luka and Kyrie must go into Batman/Superman mode and beat the he!! out of the Clippers now. They greatly underestimated the Clippers and they got hit in the mouth. They need to ignore their soft, patsy coach and win by their pure skills. Play like they did to end the season and Shut their critics up.

Dallas’ main weakness is the others. Everyone hid behind Luka and Kyrie and didn’t do their jobs. Everyone needs to call out PJ, DJJ, Maxi, Gafford, Tim, and Exum for acting like JV players in the most important game of their lives. Plus having your whole team start out so poorly was purely on the coaching staff. That was a total failure on their part. Don’t concentrate on Luka and Kyrie. Call the others out by name!

I hate stupid ppl like this…luka as well as the other mavs said they were playing passive…thats why they lost…the slept on harden and got bum rushed in the first half…i bet the mavs smoke the clippers next game

Dallas can't make an offensive screen to save their life. It didn't help that Mann and Westbrook had their Pick Dodger badges on HOF either. They were sliding around screens like no tomorrow.

The Mavs' complementary players have to turn up. It can't just be Luka and Kyrie doing the heavy lifting. Tim Hardaway Junior is the ultimate feast or famine guy. Maybe he shows up for game two.
