Harden is just better at this point guard as the system thing. Luka needs to be a quick study.

How extensive is playoff experience amongst Mavericks players?
Out side of Luka and Kyrie, not much. Even Luka doesn't have a lot of playoff experience.
after a whole week of nonstop trashtalk from all you mavs fans, I can comfortably now say this is the easiest team james harden has had to play in a long time in the playoffs. Noone on your roster can guard harden and we didnt even have big games from Norm or PG. Of course you would spend time making excuses instead.
By the way, you guys talked so much about being the number 1 defense against a bunch of average teams since the deadline and about PJ washington and Gafford. The truth is that Gafford is Zubac's easiest matchup. Please give him and PJ more minutes. You are right, the mavs are a new team since the trade. An easier team to expose 1 on 1. There isnt another playoff team that is an easier matchup for the clippers

Not enough movement on offense, big guys got backed down to the basket, rebound better on D Clippers got too many offensive boards. And we were cold, they were hot. They had the energy and we did not

The Clips scored 22 points in the 2nd qrt a NORMAL Qrt from the mavs and we win this… Relax Nick they need to change nothing

That has been a worry for me.. that the mavs 3 important role players ( gafford, lively and PJ) has not really played in a playoff atmosphere..might get gitter which i think they did. luka and kyrie looked rusty, by the time they got going it was too late..
And i also noticed when the mavs get a long rest period they come out with no energy..( at all the time) but most of the time..

One thing I can take from this game is that both Luka and Kai will be on another level next game. This game gave me “everybody talks when they’re up”. I think the embarrassment is what they needed after coasting til the end only losing a few games. I think this is what they needed and if they’re half the leaders I and many other MFFL believe they are, then they will galvanize the troops and come out swinging Thor’s hammer from tip in game 2. If not then this team is for sure a bunch of frauds and we ain’t going no where until we get a legit 3rd scorer and experience for everyone not named Luka and Kyrie. Let’s pray that the latter is NOT the case 😵💫😵💫😵💫
Luka must be aggressive, score himself, and never pass to DJJ or Maxi in the corner when he’s right under the basket. It’s a wasted possession. They always lose when Luka “tries to get his teammates involved.” Unless it’s Kyrie, Exum, or PJ, don’t pass to them.

Is it just me or did this episode start off very gloomy. Understandable obviously. Go Mavs, we got game 2.
We scored 8 points in qt in the playoffs. No matter anything anyone says about coaches or players or anything, we scored 8 in a qt. If we scored 8-10 minimum more, it’s a different ball game. We played a bad first, I thought defensively we were better in the 2nd but couldn’t score and the second half was more of who we are as a team.
I believe we’ll be better this game. Pf and Gafford, I think this is their first time in the playoffs. Idk when DJJ or Exum played serious playoff minutes so hopefully it’s rust.
Luka and kyrie played passive and Luka missed a lot of open good shots in the first half, he wasn’t forcing or anything they were just missing and the role players missed layups, dunks, fts, and open threes meanwhile the clippers shot like 80%.
Just one of those games. We fought back in the second. If anything gets move really mad about this game is that whenever we got the score down to 15-16 or so, lue would call a timeout and their half out inbound was ALWAYS an open 3 or easy layup, we have to stop that asap!
Tomorrow isn’t a must win per day but we need to win that game and play like how we’ve been
