Malik Monk talks about the disappointment for his Kings to have their season end without making the playoffs, not being able to contribute in the Play-In Tournament due to his knee injury, the uncertainty of the offseason ahead as a free agency, not knowing how things might play-out, his desire to want to remain in Sacramento and the possibility of leaving this summer.

Gotta stay with Kings. Recruit Valenchunas to Sacramento. He can add length for the Kings that desperately needed.

Keep and START him! So glad he mentions that he could make more money, but be in a bad situation. Love the perspective! I am sure Malik already has a pretty good idea where he is staying. I bet Monte will figure something good out for him knowing he wants to stay but also wants to get a raise.
He can make more money, but in every team he’s been on vs Sac he’s not even played or valued at what he’s at. If he leaves the Kings he will not be able to play the same game tbh they will limit his potential. Mike lets him run loose and play whatever he wants but another team would want him to play differently. He should play it safe and stay for another 2 yrs and then take the option or become free agent again.
