Great job getting rebounds tonight ,, remembering that DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS and Ivica Zubac is the Key 🗝️ to the Clippers success , they have to keep him involved getting touches on offense and his defense and controlling their rebounding edge is most important , please remember when they were successful in December and January Ivica Zubac was averaging double figures in points and rebounds and his contributions are much needed , with or without Kawhi Leonard ,, great decision making by James Harden and Paul George and, , Russell Westbrook and great chemistry and intensity from T Mann and Amir Coffey , video sessions before next game to fix the scoring droughts which shouldn't be happening ! I think it had less to do with the Clippers and more to do with Dallas beating itself in the first half lol. Still props to the Clippers but if they think this is representative of this series they're gonna have a rude awakening waiting in Dallas on Wednesday.

PG and Norman Powell didn’t even have a good game. Us Clipper fans knew how capable Zu is and now he owns Gafford. Harden on a Clippers team is greater than Kyrie and Luka two ball dominant guards. Again no one can guard Zu.
Basketball minds knew Dallas’ defense to end the year wouldn’t last in the playoffs let alone against the Clippers who have so many weapons. Also shout out to Clippers defensive schemes to funnel scoring to just Luka in the first half.

I think kidd was at fault, he shouldve challenged a couple calls and trusted his players, but i think the away game got to him. They took off the moment kidd hadnt made the right calls.

The mavs lost game 1 by not hitting open shots/ layups. Look at the Box scores. They looked really rusty and the clippers could not have shot better in the first half. Clippers were outplayed in the 2nd half while still missing open shots. The clippers are not going to get the same mavs team the rest of the series. It was a blow to lose a game without Kawaih but if they win on the road in game 2, the pressure is right back on the clippers.
