  1. My favorite part of this draft is how open it is. The easy number 1 pick for one person can drop to 6 or 7 for someone else, and drafting for fit is reasonable because there's no "best player available."

  2. Will you do the rest of the first round in the next video?

edit: Also I don't think losing the pick for the Raptors would be THAT disastrous just because it would mean the Raptors can take on next season with no real concerns as they can try to go for the play-in or later on tank to improve pick odds.

  3. If the San Antonio Spurs were to get both Nikola Topic and Zaccharie Risacher, they would win the draft. They would instantly fill two needs in getting a ball handler and a shooter. This would be the best-case scenario for the Spurs.

  4. You weren't kidding when you said you were trying to infuriate the other fan bases ๐Ÿ˜ญ no chance bulls draft collier, next time have us draft Hansen Yang

  5. I only see the Pistons taking Sheppard if they decide to trade Jaden Ivey, which I 100% think they should consider this offseason considering Monty Williams clearly does not like the way Ivey plays, and his role is redundant with Cade on the team.

  6. Would absolutely love Sheppard in Detroit, he brings something the pistons desperately need, assuming those great defensive tendencies translate

  7. Derek! Great show!

I do have a question. My focus is strictly on the Thunder and their needs moving forward.

Size, rebounding, and a player capable of bringing that while maintaining the team's identity and I keep getting drawn to Tristan da Silva. The Ringer slated him a good fit and I haven't found anything to disagree. He can stretch the floor, make plays, good defensive instincts.

I know he's a senior, but he seems to fit an immediate need.

    Thoughts?

  8. Topic & Risacher to SA would be perfect. I'd also settle for Dillingham + Salaun tbh. I think the Spurs have the competitive timeline (3-5 years) and perfect developmental environment to take the massive swing on Salaun. Hopefully OKC doesn't snag him.

  9. I donโ€™t see why okc drafting another 6โ€™3 combo guard. As they have both the starting spots filled alongside isiah joe and cason wallace coming of the bench. I see them swinging for guys like Kelel Ware,Tyler Smith or Missi if they donโ€™t trade the pick.

  10. There is no way Memphis select Holland with #1 pick. Smart/Bane/Kennard/Vince Williams/GG Jackson

  11. Another question, sorry๐Ÿ˜Š

If you saw it on X, what were your thoughts on a 16 year old Sam Prest letter to the editor suggesting the Celtics scrap their then current line up to position themselves to be able to draft a then sophomore Jason Kidd when he graduated from California?

  12. Thunder got rid of micic and tremann i doubt we bring in another offensive guard, we want 1-5 to be defender playmakers and shooters

  13. WTF why would the bulls draft another guard. They have already 20 guards in the roster smh. Also coby and ayo already prove themselves to be the backcourt duo of the bulls.

  14. I commend you on drafting Castle to the Hornets. Probably the guy I want most as a Hornets fan. Heโ€™d come in and fit nicely in between Lamelo and Brandon & make all the plays necessary to win on both ends (especially defensively). If the shot comes along, heโ€™s got some untapped potential I think he can easily unlock playing next to those 2

  15. Appreciated your work and content as always. I like the pick for the Charlotte hornets and how they're building this team with Jeff Peterson Rick schnall and Gabe plotkin running the show. The potential line up with LaMelo ball miles bridges Brandon Miller stephon Castle Mark Williams is a solid starting five in Charlotteor they can draft Zach kids would fit good in Charlotte

  16. Great mock. This would be dream scenarios for Portland and San Antonio without moving up.

  17. I'm not understanding the logic behind the Grizzlies drafting Holland. He wouldn't be able to break into the rotation next season. He's not playing over GG, Vince Williams Jr., or Smart at the wing slot. If anything, he's an upside, project pick 3/4 yrs into the future. Immediate contributors would be Clingan, Sheppard, Sarr, maybe even Knecht.

  18. Those are awesome picks ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ™Œbut I rather get nikola topic and rob dillingham two best pgs in class to pair with wemby just cuz topic is big gamble its been taking him forever to come back after surgery but if he is healthy he can be manu 2.0 and rob dillingham=parker 2.0 you pair wemby/spurs with best pgs to be able to get team going ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ™Œnew era looking good but wouldn't mind rob dillingham and risacher 2 good 3 pt shooters of class to play along wemby but if we miss on nikola topic juan nunez looks good too in second round good left handed pg that plays similar and been playing men since 15-16 too…this draft looking good for spurs ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™
