I think you guys only looking at the in season match up games is giving you misconceptions. Game 1 was the back end after the Gobert Green scuffle and a late flight into PHX. Game 2 the Wolves just played like ass. It was very out of character of this team. Game 3 Kat just came back, and they were working on him getting his legs under him. I don't think the last game of the season or any of the other 2 matchups this season were indicative of what this series was going to hold. Phx needs to shoot the lights out from the perimeter to win this season. If the refs let the game be physical Minnesota is going to win. However, let's not forget that Ant averages over 30 a game in the playoffs. Last year he was no joke against Denver and the prior year he put on a show against Memphis. Ant's growth over the last 3 years is larger than any other player in the league. Behind him is Naz Reid the undrafted rookie in year 3 that's about to win himself a 6th man of the year award. And if Towns continues to compose himself and hit 3's there's no one to guard that. I also think that if MN decides to play Kat down low that Durant and Nurk aren't going to be able to stop that. If Kat plays out of control though that will be detrimental to the Wolves.
Ant and KAT got into foul trouble and had to sit early than normal. Ant was visibly upset in the 2nd quarter when he got into foul trouble and Finch had to sit him. Ant went straight in the look room 🤣
Nothing about the Suns says physical so it’s gonna be tough on them. It’s playoff basketball so the Suns aren’t going to get a bunch of phantom calls like they do when driving to the hoop like they do in the regular season. All of these playoff series have been very physical so far. That doesn’t bode well for the Suns, the softest team in the playoffs.
