Embiid: “A bunch of fouls is unacceptable”, Believe 76ers can still win? | NBA | FIRST THINGS FIRST

The Philadelphia 76ers lost to the New York Knicks and are now down 2-0 in the NBA Playoffs. Joel Embiid said that “a bunch of fouls is unacceptable” and that the 76ers will go on to win the series as the better team. Nick Wright, Chris Broussard, and Kevin Wildes discuss if Embiid’s comments are valid and if the 76ers still can beat the Knicks.

  1. first of all Embiid is a disgrace, literally every single year this man has built in excuses with these injuries, have you ever seen a man, who's in his prime age of life, making millions, be so soft? the nerve of this guy to sit out his first two years and miss 20 games a year and he even sat out a playoff game for a tummy ache, and I'm a sixers fan! and Tyrese Maxey?! this kid literally had the ball stripped from him, another play he fell to the floor and rolled the ball to a Knicks player, and another drive lost the ball out of bounds, 3 key possessions this kid is choking, and Tobias Harris? he was salty because sixers fans would trade him for a crumble cookie, he got mad because a cookie has more talent than him, making 120 million and this guy year after year can't come up big in anyway, people need to wake up and start exposing Embiid, he's a clown, shaq has zero respect for him and I understand why

  2. Props to Knicks for winning this games 👏
There is no accountability from Embiid ever… And the truth is that his game is just not good enough to get a W when it's important.. his style of playing is not good enough to elavate teammates and team, but it does just the opposite… Having him as a first star of the team will absolutely never bring a victory or a championship, if you don't put 4 other superstars around him.. and I'm 100 percent sure of that… So unless he lowers his ego and allowes someone else to guide that team while he is 2nd best on it… which also demends media and fans to stop expecting of him something that he cannot deliver, and stop putting him in the shoes he is not ready to fill.. unless that happens Embiid and his fans can right now enter "The Process" of accepting never winning a championship.
P.S. And on the other side, you can find the same pattern in which some people always root and have doubts against Jokic and Nuggets, no matter who they are playing against, as well as have unexplainable support for Embiid, and everyone else they find remotely close or capable to threaten Jokic's amazing performances and results. Not only that's not fair to Jokic, Nuggets, than whoever they are playing, Embiid, AD.. But also I think that is nothing short of hilarious.

  3. I know embiid is always hurt but at some point he has to figure it out. I don't care about his legs, dude youre on the court. Can't have it both ways. Injuries can't be an excuse. It effects the rest of the team when he's playing

  4. I would never understand how people with no talent that have never play any sports with the most unathletic bodies in the universe get paid millions to critice the most talented and athletic people in the planet 🤔

  5. Some doctors better check embid's right eye. During the locker interview, why did he's not look at the camera???? 🤔🤔🤔🤔

  6. Pretty sure y embid has his head down was cuz he can’t blink his left eye might look weird if he talks to the media and we see it

  7. We knew this was gonna happen we as in New York get physical with them it’s fouls they get physical with us it’s good defense yall are soft and got exposed.

  8. Nobody seems to notice Maxxey having a JR Smith moment and sprinting to the basket with 13 seconds left down by 1 🙄🙄

  9. Embid had something going on with his eyes. One couldn't blink and the other looked irritated. Probably one of the reasons he had his face covered.

  10. I wanna see the take today after the NBA came out and said Maxey got fouled twice on that final in bounds possession they're talking about…

  11. I do feel like if Embidd played closer to the basket some of those injuries wouldn’t happen. He’s definitely 300 pounds doing sht he shouldn’t be

  12. 76ers are overhyped every year. They will never win the championship. I’m sure somehow it’s still Doc Rivers, Ben Simmons, and James Harden’s fault
