Last night sucked, but not near as bad as 2006. People forget that the league also suspended Stackhouse for a very pedestrian hard foul on Shaq that was only deemed a flagrant 1. The refs also stole our timeout between free throws with 3 seconds left in Game 5 down 2 points just because JHo asked Avery if they should call one after the shot. Then of course – the fouls and phantom calls for D Whistle.
I’m not a conspiracy guy or narrative guy – but the fix was absolutely in on that series. It was sickening. Im still not 100% over it.

Realistically, the only player (on both teams) with special whistle is Harden. PG, Kawhi and Zubac get mauled just as much as Luka, Kyrie and Mavs’ bigs. Let’s also not forget Mavs were 33-13 in FTs in Game 1 and were like 21-26 in FTs this game before garbage time.
