This is the highest percentage Klay shot by 2.5%. I don’t know why, but I’m guessing he spent a lot of time in gym this season putting up shots. I don’t think his season was this rough due to a lack of effort. Klay is probably my favorite basketball player of all time, and I hate to say it, but I think he’s lost something and his best days are behind him. Would love to be proven wrong, would love him for stay and play a support role and wherever he goes, I’ll support him, but the last thing I want is to see him another team’s jersey and just playing terrible.

Klay pre-Achilles: 84.8 FT% (615 games played)
Klay post-Achilles: 90.3 FT% (178 games played)
Always found it interesting how his FT% was never at 90%-ish like the other GOAT shooter candidates (Steph, Ray, Reggie, Nash etc.) but he’s now up there after returning to play post-Achilles injury, perhaps he worked on it in the 2 years while prepping to return
