Biggest knock on Malik is his plus minus is +8 on the season and Naz Reid's is +248. Haven't seen enough T-wolves games to say Reid is any less deserving but of course I love Monk and wanted him to win

I feel for Monk. He sacrificed starting many games this season (on a contract year) in hopes that he would be recognized at the end of the year.. we're not new to getting short changed in sac though. I really hope we're able to keep him, if not, I hope he gets a huge deal.

Unfortunately, Monk will be gone anyway because other teams can offer more. Its the first time ive heard an existing team cant offer more because its a rule. Why have a rule like that when it penalizes the player who wants to stay and the existing team. Amazingly bad rule.
