I think the Mavs were expecting a physicality called game in game 1 and were confused when the refs broke out the Houston Harden special whistle it took them out from confusion/frustration which led to the let down.
Ehhh, I'm all for Josh Green when the alternative is THJ. I feel bad that PG is playing dirty and twisted THJ's ankle. Cause I feel like THJ is gonna have a Peja moment or 2 where he comes in for 5 minutes and gives you like 9-12 points. So I feel for him likely to miss a few games.
But THJ's shot hasn't been all that great for months now. So might as well give most of THJ's minutes to Green cause Green plays much better defense, has a lot more hustle, and his speed can get you some easy buckets.
