  1. All the miss 3s from celtics defensive break down, and u would think the miami were shooting their brain out, but no it COULD get even more uglier😂

  2. First off Jason you're the man one of the most informative sports personalities out there.

Second, is it actually pronounced "hair-o" and not "hero" or is it an accent thing😂

  3. I can't think of any excuse for Boston here. Overconfidence is all I can think of…why else would they be so half-asleep? Yeah, the Celtics have been overall a better team than last year, and Miami is missing their best player…Boston is probably thinking there's no way these guys are a threat. But dang…Miami has not only consistently over-achieved in the playoffs; it's no secret that they're extremely well-coached; their culture is what it is, year after year…and for crying out loud Miami BEAT YOU IN THE PLAYOFFS last year. Boston should have had a mindset to come out breathing fire in every game of this series and never let Miami feel any hope. Guess we'll see if they've learned their lesson and do that from here on…now that they've played 82 games and got home court throughout, and already blown that in game 2 for this series.

  4. Hey Jason, love the detailed video breakdown, keep it up! Is there an expected points stat for the entire match, taking into account everything (shot quality, momentum, player ability etc )? Wouldn't this be a more objective and clear cut way to tell if a result is mostly on variance / luck vs a team just doing a terrible job on defense?

  5. Great breakdown! I think your conclusion about Boston's lack of defensive intensity is spot on. Jrue Holiday seemed to be sleep walking at times.
I gotta say that watching Tyler Herro closely was a bit of a revelation for me. Herro has a very quick release….he doesnt need much daylight to get an open shot. I kinda felt sorry for Sam Hauser in the first half when he fought through a screen, but contested too late on a Herro stepback. Yes, a breakdown, but one partially created by Tyler Herro's quick release. So, gotta chase him off and get a little closer.

  6. Lmao I hear the exact same thing every single playoffs no matter who the Heat play. “Talent! Talent! Talent!” Every single playoffs though it never matters. I wonder at what point people will actually turn their brains on when talking about the Heat in playoff Basketball.

  7. Drue is a realy good cerebral defensive player. I wonder if he knew his big man had his back turned for a second and tried to shade the entry. Bad gamble but I wonder if that’s what he was hashing in that 1.2 seconds 🤔

  8. of course you make a video when we lose and dont say a word when we win lol how bout them 0-3 Lakers!?

  9. Miami ain't hitting 23 3,s any time soon+ the Celtics defense was horrible, Celtics had a bad shooting night, so yeah, there you go, cudos Miami avoided a sweep,

  10. The Celtics have allowed the Heat to shoot over 50 percent from 3 at least 4 times in the last 8 PO games. They are soft and lazy.

  11. What's lost in this game is – how miami defense took away the creation of 3 points by Cs. Heat scored 111, Cs offense average 120 points in regular season. While the Heat shot well from 3s, the bigger issue is how miami defense completely shut down the point of attack from Cs. Yea, Cs can shoot more 3s, but how? There was not enough space. The Cs offense didn't make the defense rotate. Interestingly, in game 1, Sam Hauser got it going because Tatum got the ball down in the low post from left corner and whipped a cross court pass to Hauser when the double team came. Did Tatum go down to low post in game 2? No. For years, when this team relies on dribble penetration to make defense rotate in the playoffs, it became stagnant because refs arent calling fouls and opposing defense is a lot more handsy. Joe Mazzulla, as great as it was in the regular season, should not be coaching this team. They got WEEKS of rest since locking up the #1 seed AND the rest during the play-in week. AND the opposing team without 2 starters. It's absolutely unacceptable, tbh. We need a better coach.
