Joe Mazzulla's answer to 'how are you going to defend better' can't be 'we have to be more efficient on offense'. He MUST do a better job of prioritizing in game adjustments.

The play-offs experienced Rondo must take the Head coach job of the Celtics. He was a great playmaker and defender during his playing days. He played tons of playoffs games and went to the finals 3 times (twice with the Celtics, winning a championship, and also winning a championship with the Lakers).

After losing the game to the woefully shorthanded Lakers, Mazulla is asked if the team should be embarrassed. His demeanor and answer to that question are the reasons for losses like this, and ultimately, the reason this team will choke again.

Here Mazulla says “most of the 3s were contested” but the numbers say different. 15/23 3s they took were wide open (6ft+). The guy is unfit for the job. We need better coaching

Miami is not gonna shoot 55 % from 3 point range every night, Celtics need to defend the perimeter better, Tatum and Brown need to drive to the basket more.
Both things can be true. Celtics have better athletes yet miami set the physical tone and gritty nature that comes with it. I believe sometimes it's easier when your back is against the wall especially when your not expected to beat the numbers. Odds. I remember Celtics Lakers and Boston was overwhelmed with how strong and fast LA played. Then the hard foul on Rambis and LA was playing Bostons style. May the best team win.
