Disappointment!
I’m so bitter about having to face the Pelicans (called it) and Malik missing 6MOTY (shocked), that I can’t enjoy the NBA playoffs at all
Not sure how long it will take to get out of this slump, but at least I have your postmortem to give some perspective!
Disaster, disappointment, disgrace, destitution, A DAMN SHAME!
Mike Brown is def The Man
I know it's 46 wins but it IS disappointing because we SAW that it SHOULD HAVE been 52.
I AM still very excited about Keegan. I really think he will be a top-tier player in the league in 2 years.
Mike Brown DNP'ed Sasha 7 of the 9 games before his injury.
There was another string of about 6 DNP's at some point before that.
So it didn't seem like he was finding his rhythm because every time he did, Mike Brown would stop playing him
Same with Keon Ellis – between game 30 and game 50 Mike Brown gave him 14 DNPs.
The Kings were floundering at around 23rd in defensive rating until post all star break when Mike Brown was forced to play Keon
Without the Monk and Huerter injuries, which forced Mike Brown to play Keon Ellis big minutes, there is no reason to believe the Kings would have finished any higher than around 23rd defense
Bring in a third allstar level player, this roster ain’t enough.
We need Kel'el Ware
HB regressed, Sasha and Duarte not up to the level we expected…..Sasha way too slow for modern NBA…
The [ Voice of Reason ] doesn't takeaway the stung felt. I'll let the draft takeover within the mind focus realm. . .
At least the Lakers will get swept.
You are great at reviewing, whether it’s one game, or an entire season!
Respectfully, a season ago HB finished 14th out of 30 starting SF in overall defensive rating, so definitely not as bad as you made it sound. Also, Chris Duarte quit fouling so much after several months of player development, but everyone is stuck on that old narrative and I’m certain he’ll get traded and “maybe” blossom somewhere else, because he’s had so little NBA playing time.
Keep up the great work!👍
if keegan shot 2% better on three's we would have won like 2 more games, i read somewhere. but i think the biggest thing is the free throws from everyone. bro if i can shoot 85% from the free throw line then these pros have no excuses.
i think Monk was a bit more inconsistent because if you pull up the box scores….he would have a game where he would score 24 points then next game he would score 4 the next. then 35 points, then another 6 points…..check the box scores he was very consistently inconsistent, but he was defiantly better this year compare to last year.
Kings made their bed and laid in it. Everyone should have known they were fraudulent when they lost to the Pistons and Wizards.
