Unfortunately it did workout pretty well for Westbrook and the Clippers, as LA was rewarded by having their worst player removed from the game, while Dallas had to close the game without their best defender. Good job by the Mavs staying poised and finishing them off.
PJ is an absolute MENACE
Here is the thing… what has Lue as a coach done since the title? Basically the same as Doc since his title… I do not see him as a good coach. He is ok, nothing more. Kidd, like it or not, has a clear idea what he wants our team to do. He trusts his stars and uses the reg season to test a lot of things and also to test his players. Yes, because of that we mightve lost a view games, but the team right now shows that it was worth it. Everyone is ready and knows his role. Everyone is buying into the system. It might not be the most komplex system (spcially on offense), but it works. He now takes the timeouts (he didnt take a lot of times in the reg season) if needed and plays a fixed rotation. He also makes opponents react to our style of play, not the other way around. I think thats all anyone can ask for. A championship level coach does not need to do everything all the time. He needs to know what works and how to react to things that do not work. So for me, Dallas has the coaching edge.

Everyone who keeps using kawhi as an excuse are just babies. Luka went against them boys, BY HIMSELF. They beat the mavs without kawhi and thought kawhi was a sure win for them. The mavs shut that shit down. And if kawhi isn’t healthy, TAKE HIM OFF THE FLOOR. Anytime you in the floor/field/court, INJURIES DONT MATTER!

Physicality is these guys weakness. Game 2 clips were being rewarded due to mavs being physical. Well now theyre in mavs home court. Refs aint gonna favor you here. That just makes me fear game 5 more but i think by then weve found our rhythm so i predict we end this 6 more likely. But it might be 5

Luka and Kyrie in the back seat as our bigs drive us to Lob City, population Clippers. Clippers defense isn’t a problem when every player on the Mavs are getting almost 10pts each. Insane to watch them crack the clippers code more and more each game.

The biggest thing to me is that Dallas still hasnt even had a good offensive game, and Luka and Kyrie had average games. I see that changing for sure. I dont wanna talk too much shit but I feel good about this series

I'm not worried about the LA Strippers. They are washed. Luka will show Shai who the real MVP is next round.
Clippers are old, past their prime. Why everybody is Dismissing this fact? It's OK to add 1 or 2 veterans to the team, but to have 6 out if 8 rotation players over 31, you simply can't keep up with a good team in their prime years.
Luka still not having that invincible game and the Mavs still edge in the series gives me more confidence. Game 4 is a must win.
