The Mavericks had this game. I think Kidd actually lost us the season with his obsession with Maxi at 5. Overreaction? Maybe. Yes we were down 31, but we came back and put ourselves in a position to win while going BIG. It was just a boneheaded, stubborn decision to stick with the Maxi at center line up for 10 minutes straight
I would play lively and gaford from beginning just to show little bit of force

dude luka can do better!! he was missing easy A** shots. if playing defense does this to him man idk….cant by kyrie saving us all the time.
The refs have allowed some egregious contact on Luka this series. LA’s MO has been hurt the opponent if ya gotta.

To be fair to Luka PJ was a turnstile at the end of the game. Luka being in foul trouble hurt tremendously. 😊

Reason for loss – turnovers and defense. Kai played great but had 7 TOs. Luka didn’t shoot well but Mavs outscored clips by 10 when he was on floor. Luka’s playing normal offense, but his 3s aren’t hitting.
The best possible thing about the Mavs getting eliminated by Clippers in the first round is that it will be the perfect excuse for getting rid of JKidd and bringing in someone who’s offensive playbook is more than “Luka is the plan”.
as always this was the true color of the Mavs…living and dying in 3's and no plan B.. hope in game 5 JKidd makes the necessary adjustment else this series will end on game 6.
Luka doesn’t look like Luka …
I am a Mavs fan but there is no way the Mavs can eliminate the Clippers from these playoffs. Luka is not playing well offensively and defensively and it is like a fight between Kyrie vs the Clippers.
If the Mavs just could have been down 18 after the first they would have won

man I really thought they would come back. This one hurt. PG and Harden can really knock em down
1) Luka lost this one. He has not been clutch 3-pointers for a long time now except for game 2 here.
2) who was guarding PG? No man , cannot allow that.
3) bring in 3-pts from two other guys (Exum and Green should only be practicing hitting threes) besides Kyrie otherwise not beating Clippers.
Why they just didnt double on harden ? He would pass the ball. Jason kid do nothing
Kidd gave away this game for free leaving Kleber the entire 4th quarter and didnt show any single level of adjustment on harden. Tired of this damn coach that just watches. So useless

Dare I say we sit luka if he’s not 100%. Also, why tf did we not play lively or gafford more in the 4th?? Yeah harden beat luka off the dribble, but there was no help behind him
Luka should have kept playing defense with 2 minutes left regardless of his 5 fouls. Exum, kleber, pj and Kyrie have been are clutch guys anyway
Mavs going without a true center, giving up drives and floaters down the stretch was frustrating. Love Maxi, but he’s best alongside a center and PJ at the 3. All the offensive lobs are also gone for the Mavs when small.
There’s three things that piss me off about this game:
1. We opened up so flat and poor just like game 1. We’re a completely different team against them when Kawahi is playing and when he isn’t.They shoot better, they’re faster, move quicker, it’s a different squad and after two games we have no answeres for the start of the game.
2. Yes Luka has a triple double but let’s be series, he played bad today. A lot of turnovers, super passive on his drives, horrible from 3, and turnstile defensively. It was a poor Luka game.
3. Kidd and the coaching staff FUCKED us in the third. We were down 31 and through the second and third we made a killer comeback with having one of lively and gafford in, playing hard nosed defense, and pushing it attacking it with kyire running the show, so what do we do? We go small ball the whole 4th and get no rebounds and harden kills us. We were up 2 with 2:14 left and we never put it in lively or Gafford and they instantly went on a 5/6-0 with poor rebounding and us turning over.
We fought back to get up 1, only to get outcoached and outplayed. It hurts
Luka looks hurt man, the hesitation in the lane, not pulling the trigger on open 3s, the foul trouble …. Sigh
