It's not that they figured anything out that's new. This is the same team they swept in the regular season.
Boston just thought they could play half-assed and win anyways. They saw that they can't, so they played like an actual contender should and blew them away.
All Miami can do now is hustle more and try to win the effort game, and play more physical.
It could get them a win tomorrow, and extend the series, or they could still fall short and put this to bed in 5. Time will tell
i wouldnt underestimate miami. C's should play like the underdogs, play like game 3 and not be afraid to be physical. Go win game 4. no too cool for school shit.
nah when i hear "we have to be more physical" its just the heat code word for "we have to foul them." or perhaps if we want to quote Spo verbatim "foul them. they wont call everything."
The other top seeds on both conferences are taking care of business , we must do the same. Start strong and play with intense Defense the whole game and Miami should not be able to score enough. Our Defense is sustainable, the guys just need to always be in the right mindset.

The frustration will always lie with the fact that the Celtics can win if they stay locked in and focused. Talent wise they’re at the advantage. But often they pull their foot slightly off the pedal and maybe stop steering the car and then veer off course.
Yes, game plans and specifics are very important. But I’d rather it be a focused and close win than an easy blow out. I feel this team learns more from those wins. Game 3 and 1 were similar but the focus was definitely regained in game 3. But it always takes a LOSS to understand, granted, that’s obviously a good indicator to come back strong. But I feel against a locked in team further into the post season. You lose that safety net and have much less room for error.
I ain’t gotta say it, everyone already knows. The Celtics need to not hang their heads when those 3s aren’t falling . And sure as hell don’t need to try to shoot themselves out of the slump!! Stick to the effort on defense and rebounding , the offense will come naturally 💯 ☘️
