Jalen Duren Or Jaden Ivey, Who Would You Trade From The Detroit Pistons If You Had To Move On?

Jalen Duren Or Jaden Ivey, Who Would You Trade From The Detroit Pistons If You Had To Move On?

It’s becoming increasingly likely that the Detroit Pistons will be making a legitimate trade that’ll require moving on from Jaden Ivey or Jalen Duren. If this is the case, which player would you move on from?

  1. trade deez nuts bro shut tf up. Last time said this shit we got rid of burks and bogey. you really like speaking on a losing team for views huh?

  2. I echo what has been said Cade needs shooting and defense around him. He needs an all star teammate.

  3. Even though they don't have alot of experience and I'm not bias because they were part of our last ship but we need to bring in Tayshaun and Rip and clean house. Let them make they choices on GM and coach and build this roster with some identity. I would take a Ingram trade and I want Miles Bridges as a FG. Booker would be a dream!

  4. Go after Miles Bridges instead of Harris. I would be more confident with Bridges dropping over 20 points if Cade is having a bad night rather than Harris.

  5. It's a shame can theese guys at least play 3 years together pistons have always traded there players so fast its ridiculous an then they turn out great elsewhere smh!!

  6. I'd trade the one who returns more value and Ausar should be added to the list indeed, as much as I hate it. I would also consider to trade all of them it there's enough good offers on the table

But if I had to choose one, I'd trade Duren. I think Ivey is way closer to be good at his primary job (scoring) than Duren is at his (interior defense), it doesn't matter how good he's on offense cause he'll give up all of that and plus on the opposite end of the floor. And I'm not even saying I think Ivey is gonna be an all-star any time soon, I just prefer to have a bad and streaky scorer than a bad defensive center on court. It hurts your team less

  7. My gut tells me Ivey. I love both of them and think they can be great, but he hasn't seemed to fit well with cade. The exact opposite of duren who fits with cade perfectly

  8. I want Sarr or Duren…take thats how you will. Im not parting with Duren without a stud to replace him.

  9. As much as I like Ivey, I just don't think he fits with what this team is trying to do. If the org continues the "Cade's a PG" approach he will not flourish because he can't play off ball. Ivey is better with the ball in his hands and that's why I think he should be traded before his value declines. Can he lead the second unit? Probably. But my question to that would be is it better to have him as a 6th man or trade him for more assets? I value the ladder more tbh.

  10. With Claxton, Valenciunas and Hartenstien on the free agent market, and Sarr and Clingan available around where we will pick, Duren's role is easiest to replace. That said I still trade neither. We have cap room to sign BOTH Tobias and Bridges and re-up Tec. That should be enough front court shooting to make a jump next year.

  11. Ivy will be a more valuable player in the long run. Duren has never shown a willingness to be a plus defender pair that with he can't stretch the floor. He never be a above average center.

  12. I think Ivey has more trade value and is the player the Pistons and most fans prefer to trade.

I think that Duren is the guy they should trade before his trade value declines.

That said Licked On is my favorite Pistons media.

  13. I would move on from Ivey because he’s not good rn and keep Duren because I believe in Ausars work ethic and believe he will become a decent shooter and also Duren and Cade have a pretty decent 2 man game building

  14. I think Ivey is more likely to become a star, but Duren might be a more needed skill set. I also think Duren might have higher trade value. I am leaning Duren but it depends on what the deal is.

  15. This is there First full season that they’ve played together I know we had a rough season but that was mainly due to Monty and they didn’t have complimentary pieces around them let’s give it another year before we talk about trading any of them

  16. Or we just don’t trade our 20 and 21 year old players for players who will have us fighting for a play in spot. The value for either player is not good at the moment. We have no choice but to try and hit in the draft and run the squad back out and hope our young guys develop and our rookie can contribute. If it doesn’t happen this year everyone needs to be fired and we have to start from scratch again unfortunately. Cade will be an all star caliber player but he’s not a generational talent. If it doesn’t work this year get assets and accept the fact that it was another failed rebuild.
