Idk man I feel they should trade the big three and Take the blueprint made by the warriors nuggets Boston and twolves and build around the young guys and get a new coaching staff.
Hot take: can DeMar go back to the Spurs? Along with Kawhi maybe (hotter take)? To add to the mentorship of the young pups there, and possibly make a real run next year?

I like demar with young guns like coby a ayo paw . He is not reason for problems of this team. If they get something good in zach lavine trade or they get good role players they can be playoff team. In this moment i think that nothing more is possible. Only possibility is that lonzo get back same like he was before injury… And that is not very probable.

Exactly, been saying this for weeks.. S&T for DEbo and Zack and getting back multiple salarys that can be moved is the only way to really start rebuilding this team.. Otherwise the bulls are hard stuck.. They may draft a big to replace a walking Drummond, but other than that no one in this draft is helping them all that much next year. They need a youth movement or they need to find a trade for ZAch that gets a player that has a good effect on winning.. Zach doesnt effect winning like a max player should.. they need a true number 1 and Ball coulda been that dude (now cant for about 2 years best case scenario), Zach isnt that dude and Debo also isnt that dude.. Cant get a one??? Blow it up.. its the only way..
So what will be the change they said they will do? Try to change Zach??? Even if they do trade Zach where is the change? Zach barely played this year. SMH. At least trade Vooch. I would consider that a change.

The Bulls should do everything they can to sign-and-trade DeMar. If they can't, they should let him walk. Does it leave them in a bind financially? Yep. But letting DeMar walk and shopping Zach essentially means they're going into a rebuild, so being hampered financially next season wouldn't really be a big deal anyway.
Plus, they need to try to be as bad as possible next season to keep their pick that they owe San Antonio. Next year's draft is supposed to be pretty good, so having a lottery pick could prove to be very useful.
It's not a matter of whether or not DeMar deserves somewhere between $30 and $40 million a year. Statistically he probably does. What matters is if DeMar should be on this team. If the Bulls want to continue to be mediocre with an aging core, then go ahead and re-sign him. If they want to choose a new direction, he needs to go. You don't pay a guy $30-40 million a year to be a mentor to the young guys.
For the love of God let him walk!!! I'd rather suck and keep our 2025 draft pick than continue to go through this play-in tournament team bullshit.
Pick is top 10 protected in 2025 top 8 in 2026. Let's not give up a lotto ticket when the results on the court say its not worth it. Let San Antonio get our pick three years from now

There are many problems on this team, but DeMar (other than he will eventually have to retire) is not one of them.

You also said this when the Bulls resigned Zach and that backfired. Don’t resign him unless it’s a very team friendly contract! It’s better to have a player walk than giving them a massive contract
If we are talking about leadership, shouldn’t that start with the coaching staff… you mentioned how when they traded away Jimmy, they had young guys who were directionless. They’ve never had good coaching, and Billy isn’t that good of a coach either, he’s beta friendly. This team will continue to be in the middle of the pack till they find a coach that inspires and challenges those around him to see more within themselves.
None of this really matters if you are going full rebuild. Which is the right time which 2025 draft.
I hate rebuilds by the way.
