  1. I’d love to have him back. Once he was back down to 20ish minutes a night he was super impactful

  2. I think it’s no brainer to bring him back, he would get like 25% increase which is still a bargain for him and he showed up in playoffs.

  3. StoneColdAM

He’s the best player we got last summer. A solid forward who can score and defend. He shouldn’t start but let’s not lose him

  4. jonbemerkin

When I saw the title of this thread I thought the comments would be straight hating. I got downvoted all season for defending this guy…Hes a good role player and exactly what we need off the bench.

  5. PangolinConfident447

Taurean has been great since the middle of the season

  6. mightyrj

People hated on him but he was clearly being misused by Ham — a recurring theme throughout this season — but once his role was defined he was really balling out for us.

Taurean coming back on a 2/11m contract. Book it.

  8. amazontaway1

He hit some 3’s we really needed as well as always playing tough out there. Im good with keeping him, he wasnt the problem.

  9. Very good value on the bae. Give him the bun to 5ish million and have him back as the backup 3

  10. GoalPublic3579

If he’ll take a vet min then yeah. Otherwise give Christie his minutes.

  11. FGonGiveItToYa

Shot 40% from 3. Alright defense too. No brainer to keep him for cheap.

  12. 23NMASTAR

Bad coaching, solid player when playing his role

  13. Pikminious_Thrious

Hope nobody steals him for the MLE.

I always liked Taurean as a player all the way back when he started with Hawks. What I hated was how overused he was this season as a starter and how he wasn’t used properly by this coaching staff by asking him to do more than what he was capable of. I would like to see TP come back, but only if Darvin is fired cause I can’t stomach another year of clear favoritism with lineup decisions.

  15. Treant1414

With a better coach and him coming off the bench with others to help, yes!

  16. TheTwilightZone34

I’d definitely be interested to see what he can do for us under a different coach. I’d be down to bring him back

  17. incredibleamadeuscho

Re-sign him, keep him as our sixth man

  18. Threads like these are exactly what I hope we can have discussion wise this off-season. It’s clearly obvious that TP when used as a role player off the bench is in the mold of what we need, especially depth wise if we are gonna be third star chasing like being reported.

No other coach would’ve used his ass like Darvin did, so I’d love to see him in an established role under the right minutes.

  19. MrPino777

I would kinda like to keep him but only under another coach. Not Ham

  20. KarrotMovies

Darvin Ham did this man so dirty. Made him look like he didn’t belong in the league, when in reality, he’s a solid bench player that gets good minutes in a postseason rotation. He plays with good energy, solid defense and shot well from deep. He’s a nice 3 and D player. He just isn’t starter material

  21. He is one of our most consistent role players and shooters in our team. He gets a lot of flak from fans but he is the perfect role player for our team as long as his minutes are managed properly…he shouild not be playing 30 minutes a game.

  22. He was a great signing that got played too many minutes, which dropped his effectiveness.

Health permitting, a rotation of him and vando would be a great duo next year

  23. I like TP. I’d like to see him back. He doesn’t need a ton of minutes, though.

  24. TorontoRaptors34

As a decent bench piece 15-20 mins not bad but nothing more than 5 mill i think hes gone tho

  25. LosAngeles1s

Tauren is a good player when you don’t have a coach giving him all star minutes

  26. Prince actually gave us some good minutes against Denver.

Problem is he got too many minutes during the season at the expense of other more impactful guys, and our rotations were literally everywhere.

I’d love to have him back with the caveat of him not getting starter minutes

  27. TraffyZii

He’s going to be a good role player especially IF we get a better coach

  28. Wondering_Nova

Ring him back. He was a nice constant in the rotation. He also played well off the bench when he finally got moved to it.

  29. The_King_In_The_Bay

Prince is exactly the kinda depth we need, we just dont need him starting

  30. Filip_N997

15-20minutes a game to make 40% from 3 and solid defense they should keep him.

  31. jaysonman1

He should stay tbh. Bench man but was reliable in short minutes

  32. GamerRav

Only bench player that consistently showed up in the postseason. He’s welcome back if you ask me.

  33. guacdoc24

Solid player. Loved his dribble off of a close out. Hopefully he finds a mid range game off that and works on screen navigation

  34. runninthruthe818

When hes playing 20 min hes great. Ham was the one who fucked up the public perception of TP by playing him 38 min a night.

  35. Ghostbeen3

I’ve been hating on him all season but he played too many minutes and was given too large a role. All on all he was the only bench player that stepped up against the nuggies
