Kings would have gave OKC a better fight than the pelicans did for sure. If Molik Monk chases the bag, it will end very sad.
I keep hearing about making Kings to the champion level—it ain't easy. Let's compare this 2023-2024 team with the 2002-2003 team. What we lack is a 85%- 90% Chris Webber type of player. We have Sabonis who is a better Divac, a Keegan who is a 70% of Peja, a point guard who plays better than Bibby but less accurate, not much of a Hurter/Ellis compares to the defense king in Christie. We have nobody in the PF role, Barns is not comparable. Kings also need to improve the bench depth. But if we can get a 85-90% Chris Webber from somewhere, we will be in a good shape.
