They need point guard
Suns need a new GM, new HC, center, point guard and about two two way wings. So all in all they need a lot!

The only problem with Vogel is he refused to develop his bench players. Why not experiment with Thomas with the starters? Bol Bol just wasted away on the bench until nearly mid season. That is his biggest weakness.
The point guard has to be a point forward if you want to keep the big 3, someone like prime ben simmons or draymond who were also great defenders. Prime Boris diaw would have been like perfect on this team
If suns have a chance for draymond you go for it, draymond solves two problems at the same time, point of attack defense and point guard (forward), kiminga draymond and 3 frps for kd i’ll take that in a heartbeat

Dump GM, Head Coach, bring in 2 playable point guards and move Beal to run with the second unit as primary scorer..have a more balanced team with talent on first AND second unit players are capable! Hopefully eventually individuals on each internal team could be interchangeable instead of having 3 super stars and a bunch of bench sitters.

Vogel isn't a good coach we should move on from him. You're a good HC if you can develop a system where players play well. The more players you can get to play well the better of a coach you are only one player played well(Grayson Allen) everyone else struggled. Move on from frank

What is this guy talking about?! Beal is the most desperate to win!? He was happy to just sit for years in Washington, he just laughs and jokes on court all the time. He throws his hands up instead of running back. If he's the most desperate to win, we are in massive trouble. We are in massive trouble anyway.

You need a cohesive team with more defensive players. 3 primary scorers is 1 too many. It’s obvious that Beal should be the odd man out, because KD is your best player. He is. But KD probably has to go because you can’t trade Beal and you won’t trade Book.
Why is Jones safe?
KD is great, BUT i just don't see Book & him together past next season! I don't see continuity on the court, they are just "Chillin" That will not result in any 🏆

Booker not being better than KD at 35 is a problem. If a 36 year old KD is the best player on your team, you probably aren’t going to win a chip. A flaw that a lot of fans have is thinking Booker is better than he is.

Booker and Durant had good performance this year, Brad was ok, hurt all year. Can he get back to his groove or at post 30 that's it? We don't know at this point. Bench is an issue for sure. Roster needs development, not there. Coach seems could be questionable. Lot of work this off-season.
KD was the oldest but had the best year out of all of them .. if Booker didn’t have those 50 point games KD would’ve been the leading scorer and he was the best defender and the most reliable and consistent out of everybody in that suns franchise
POINT GUARD and some freakin b a l l s on defense
Suns should run it back until Durant and Nurkic's contracts are up after the 2025-2026 season. They won't get their draft picks moved to end of 1st round unless they're still in the 2nd apron in the 2026-2027 season. Superteams don't work the first year ever, and although this one was a bigger disappointment than most others, I think they can still look better nxt year.
I spent the entire season going through multiple PHX podcasts just to highlight my pain from watching Nurkic play make. All I kept saying is due to his inability to be threat from anywhere in terms of shooting or putting the ball on the ground to dribble inside to finish. It was easy to just guard his teammates when he has the ball known he is only looking to pass it. When you have 5 defenders chasing around 4 he is looking for it hard to get open. Even if once out of like 5 plays someone gets open the defender is right in their face which leads to terrible shots or turnovers easily. Saw it from the beginning of the season and it may work some games but in postseason when the game slows down it was evident it didn’t work. Our failures came from acquiring him to be a replica of Jokic. Jokic is a threat cause he can shoot from anywhere which forces multiple defenders onto him which he exploits and makes great passes. Jokic can dribble from to the paint and get layups anytime he wants too. All Nurkic does is bring the ball up slowly and stops once he crosses half to play make. Nobody is worried about him shooting or driving inside. They just have to stay attached to who he is looking for and easily intercept it once it leaves his hands or be in great space to contest.
I get disgusted that there are still some who value his play making and want to use that as a priority. Go watch games and u can see how easy it is to game plan against him. If I am the opponent I am celebrating every time he handles the ball and just focus on staying attached to who is running around wasting energy to get open. Why do you think when we get to 4th we have no juice. It’s cause when Nurkic has the ball his teammates are working hard to get any separation from defenders. On top of also burning everything on defense chasing around guards, forwards and banging with bigs cause he is also non factor on defend.
Taking the ball out of Book or Beal and KD hands all season while wanting them to adjust to play making and putting in Nurkic hands also didn’t allow them to get rhythm in every game. The three or guards like Allen or EG didn’t have the ball to play make enough cause everything was designed to run through Nurkic for majority whenever he was on court. It is why we failed to integrate our main pieces into being play makers cause we were under the illusions Nurkic was our Jokic. Bunch of idiots Jokic can shoot from anywhere and gets attention from all 5 defenders while Nurk just stands with ball in hands while shot clock burns looking for someone to get open while an extra defender is preventing that as he is not a threat from anywhere.
What you guys also failed to see was Nurkic was throwing tantrums out there. He will miss several layups while he flops and stays on the ground while we are playing 4v5 several times in a game. He will point to somewhere on his body to blame he was hurting or show he was fouled. Instead of focusing on finishing layups instead of flopping. What he does is he runs to demand the ball to play make and make up for it. It’s like he believes his play making ability was central for our offense and when ever he makes dumb decisions he will be the one to stop everything that was running in rhythm to all of the sudden bring the ball up or try to make some ridiculous passes to get fans engaged to make them forgive him for that ridiculous flopping and blown layups. Everything he does is always looking for an excuse or way to erase it. Just watch how most of the time once he misses some layups while flopping which gets us down he is quick to demand the ball afterwards.
He is not someone that is about winning or improving to better himself. It is costly already on defense and his layups are double costly. Him dominating the ball is also not allowing other to adjust into the role of play makers for each other. It’s why when like Devin has the ball he would rather go 1 vs 3 sometimes rather than give it up. He knows he has better shot at scoring against 2 or 3 than all the other issues involving that clown 🤡

lol i can’t tell you right now. If KD is gone this off season, Booker will be gone in the next two years. KD’s fall off, is better than 95% of the players they get for him. The only way KD leaves, is if he requests it.
