  1. So when lebron get much time on the bench, who takes over?? Who keeps the lakers pace up?? Think

Having a 39 year old carrying a team is crazy, but necessary…Austin, dlo, rui all trash…

  2. The fact that this dude has a platform is hilarious.

You cherry pick stats and situations just to make a biased point. Its not a “in all 5 games” the two games in which the Lakers shot more, they shot A LOT more. Nuggets shot more free throws in 3 games? Oh how convenient that you wont mention that the Lakers still shot more in those 5 games!

No one is claiming that theres a conspiracy. They’re saying the NBA is trying to keep their biggest market in the playoffs as long as possible. Thats not an NBA thing, its a pro sports thing.

Dude is wearing a Cleveland shirt so we dont see his obvious bias towards the Lakers. Your opinion is as valuable as my dog’s shit.

  3. Great points. Using shit and fucking is unnecessary. But hey it's your show and I do not have to watch.

  4. the problem with lebron is his whining and moaning as if he doesnt get EVERY single possible special treatment. he does his bully ball, most of them were offensive fouls or travel he was pushing the other with hand or elbow while cradling that ball like it was sourdough bread from traders joe while taking more steps than michael jackson.

his ego is off the chart, and he thinks he knows better than the GM which is fine but then people like you blaming anybody but lebron from the trades he made and the unklutch clients he brought in to lakers. any team with lebron runs lebron offense just like it was with harden. thats how lebron can get good numbers, it was all about who has the license to score. it’s the nba. he is one of great bully ball player ever. a taller bulkier westbrook. there’s nothing goat about it. i dont even mention that he’s about to ruin bronny life by exposing him to the world and then end up as tiktoker in 3 years

  5. Im a nuggets fan whos watched jok since 2015. This dude is absolutely right, jok doesnt get calls because he pushes people around. If they call ticky tac fouls on defenders, then they would have to call ticky tac fouls on jok too

  6. Bro it's clear that the refs been giving the lakers free throws stop it. You have no clue what you are talking about. Go actually look at the facts. You are defending something that you haven't even researched. It's one thing if lebron or AD were getting all the free throws. But no it's a all the other ppl that shoot 7 or 8 shots but somehow get 6 free throws. 😂 the lakers have a terrible defense without AD that's another reason. There are teams with just as many points in the paint as the lakers but have no were near as many free throws. You not going to sit up there with a straight face and say they defend without fouling and they draw a lot of fouls. While they can't win games without the free throws. Dude stop it.

  7. Gotta be trolling with the series stats as a reason to say nuggets fans shouldn't complain about the officiating in that last game.

  8. I really like LeBron, but I appreciate your honesty, LeBron did make several key errors in this series, I don't know if it was fatigue or lack of trust. But he was getting beat in key defensive reads by Gordon and that cost at least 2 games.

  9. The fact you can sit there with a straight face after saying jokic went 0-0 in game 5. I CANT TELL YOU DONT WATCH THE GAMES

  10. We witnessed a slight decline in Bron he not as sharp in late games situations he can't be the main handler late in games he.now needs a closesr next to him for games like this

  11. The logic around the Jokic/AD foul incident is fair, but only in the case that it was let go live. When they reviewed that there is no way in hell there was a justification to overturn it.

  12. Can’t win a championship with lebron playing point forward at this stage of his career. BUT THATS THE ONLY WAY HE KNOWS HOW TO PLAY. he’s done

  13. yall lebron fans and laker fans all pissed and upset at jason for just simply pointing out stuff that happened in the game and adding context is genuinely hilarious LMAO

  14. As a nuggets fan, our biggest gripe when talking about the free throw differential is that if you watch a nuggets game, the best player in the world, Nikola Jokic, gets beat up every game and gets no love from the refs.. if it were Embiid, LeBron they would and do get a ton of free throws.. Jokic doesn't get the same love.. that's our gripe

  15. Honestly I didn’t know of you until this Nuggets series and I subscribed because you seemed somewhat rational and seemed like a good guy. Sorry after this take I am out. Laker fans have exhausted me, your fandom is beyond toxic. Your excuses and whining and crying. If you can’t see an obvious 18 point advantage (27-9) the referees give you and it’s basically every game! The no calls against Jokic and Jamal deemed non fouls is beyond comprehension but guess what, we didn’t expect any calls. The Evidence couldn’t more objective. Then LeBron goes out and cries about it but noone says a thing because he can’t even shake hands or congratulate the Nuggets. But here we go, your take… unsubscribed. Do better

  16. “Guys we need to put the Lakers FT conspiracy to bed, so I’m gonna bring it up for the 5th time in 3 days.”

He’s so pressed. Will Jason ever recover from this?

  17. >you need to provide evidence
    >Provides evidence

    >No, not that evidence. I need you to hack Adam Silver's personal texts.

  18. we have 3 belo average defenders. Can we get a ball handler and a power forward to play defense and hit the glass?? unreal…D LO doesnt even put his hands up and runs aroyund like he's clenching. maybe if he spent as much time on defense as he does on his mouthpiece chew game we would be playing in a game 6.

  19. "The reason they have more free thows is they are top 5 in defending without getting foul calls and top 5 in getting calls"

    Bruh 💀💀💀

  20. Lebron gives up wide open 3’s in transition because he’s still complaining to the refs about 4 times a game. It’s pathetic for a player of his stature.

  21. At the end of the day, the Lakers are eliminated from the playoffs. Please can we get on with content about teams that are currently still in the playoffs

  22. The giant "Self Licking ice cream cone" called ESPN will never let LA Clippers/Lakers & GS Warriors be irrelevant even though they truly are right now as Denver, OKC & Minnesota own all of them.

  23. Jason. Look up the word unconscious bias. That's how they get the calls and non calls. Ask a mathematician about these numbers.

  24. I almost never complain bout officiating Jason. I try to tell our fans all the time at Ball arena-where I work-Nuggets often get a slight benefit from the refs at home…like most good teams do.Its not a fix or conspiracy-just part of home court advantage,& being a proven Championship team. It's why announcers even say veterans get "more respect from the refs" than rookies. It's nothing nefarious just part of the game in every sport. The crowd in basketball is on top of the game-so of course it subconsciously affects refs-just like players-to some degree. To deny that in the NBA the better players,& teams get some benefits of doubt from the officials is just dumb,& transparent. I totally push back when people say the NBA is trying to help the Lakers or whoever win.But to act like everybody is officiated the exact same is flat out ludicrous.1 of the big free throw differential games was a game where the Nuggets killed the Lakers in the paint(Nugs also won that game)…game 1 I think it was? So the tired old cliche of "the Nuggets just settled for jump shots" was ridiculous,& flat out untrue. More than 1 thing can be true at same time. Its not a conspiracy,or trying to help 1 team win-but better players,& teams tend to get more benefits of doubt-especially at home. And that usually benefits the Nuggets.

And you are right to call out fans claiming its a conspiracy,& attempt to steal games. Just like I do-& I do the same to Avalanche fans who think the NHL tries to help Las Vegas or big market teams like NY…or Canadian fans convinced the refs have a memo from the NHL to make sure the Finals only have American teams participating. But most of us arent saying that…theres middle ground here. And your comment about Malone is usually true-Phil Jackson used to do it all the time,& it would sometimes work to some degree.Refs are human & subconsciously that kind of thing can give you a tiny edge. But Malone has no reason to politic AFTER THE SERIES IS OVER,& our series with Minny doesnt start for a week. You make some good points-but some of your points go too far. Are you honestly telling us no team in NBA history ever got any officiating advantage?

What would you have told Sacramento fans in 2002? The officiating in game 6 was completely even? I believe the Lakers got like 27 FTs in that game 6…IN THE 4TH QTR ALONE-Sacramento had like 2 in a 1 point loss that wouldve sent them to the Finals. And again-I dont think that game was a conspiracy or fixed but just like bad calls sometimes cost NHL or NFL teams-it happens in the NBA even more-cuz of the nature of the game. Refs have more of a direct impact on the outcome. And refs are human, make mistakes, have biases etc. Part of that 2002 WCF is those Lakers should shoot more FTs…Shaq & Kobe were gonna shoot more FTs than Sacramento-cuz they would go to the basket more than Pedja Stoyocovich or Vlade.Chris Webber got too perimeter that series. But when the difference is like 27-2 or whatever-doesnt pass the laugh test or make common sense to say that's exactly what both teams deserved-even though its not cuz the NBA wanted the Lakers to advance.

And to people who do think these games are fixed,& it is a conspiracy…the reason I know it isnt-there was a game 7 in that series. And as 25 yr old-I was rooting hard for Sacramento. What happened in game 7? I think it was a very good,& fairly officiated game & played no role in the result. Kings were at home in game 7,had a pretty big lead late,& kinda fell apart-& Kobe,& Shaq stepped up like the Alltime greats they were in OT. The refs played no role in helping them.If it was a conspiracy-they probably wouldve screwed Sacramento in game 7-especially when they were up 8 or 10pts…or whatever-in the 4th. And that goes to the other part of this-there are so many plays in a game-to completely hang everything on the refs is a loser mentality. There are always of dozens of plays,& mistakes by players,& coaches that couldve overcome any bad calls.

But again-that middle ground,& more than 1 thing can be true at same time works both ways.Just because its not a conspiracy,& the players couldve overcome any bad calls through many plays throughout the game-also doesnt mean the refs were perfect,100% even both ways,& should be utterly & completely absolved of any blame or criticism-like some people think-thats almost as ridiculous as people who think these games are fixed.By your comments-you might be 1 of those people.Like players or coaches-there are good refs,& bad ones,& even good ones make mistakes & have subconscious biases.Just as blaming losses on officiating is ludicrous -the people who say officiating never plays even a small role in any result-thats just as dumb.Especially in basketball-where officiating has such a huge impact on the game by the nature,& rules of the sport. In football-a player rarely gets thrown out of a game,& in hockey-a player goes to the box for 2 minutes, occasionally 4 minutes,& extremely rarely 5 minutes-but they cant foul out like in basketball. And in hockey-even if your opponent gets 10 power plays-the best power plays in the nhl only score around 25% of the time,& routinely go through long slumps of multiple games of not scoring. But in basketball-if you have an awful shooting night-you still are gonna hit like 60% of FTs.

Point being-its NEVER the refs fault you lost a game but its idiotic to ever say they always were zero factor in the game. The Kings did get screwed somewhat in game 6 of 2002 WCFs-the Lakers shouldve been done. But I dont think it was an intentional attempt to help the Lakers advance,& the Kings only had themselves to blame cuz they had game 7 at home,& many opportunities to finish off the Lakers. But to expect King fans to be totally OK with the officiating in game 6,& swallow that "it played no role whatsoever in the outcome in a 1 point game"-is ludicrous & disingenuous. You cant expect those fans not to be upset but blaming their series loss on the refs…let alone claiming it was a purposeful league conspiracy is even dumber,& should be called out. This isnt hard to figure out-but the extremism on both ends of this argument is frustrating for those of us basically in the middle-who try to be reasonable.I dont think either extreme is reasonable.

And while you are my favorite basketball analyst,& unbelievably Knowledgeable,& fair/even handed-I must say I think you are bending over too far backwards to defend NBA officiating…you are going to 1 extreme,-when truth is in the middle-like most things. But fortunately we shouldn't hear much of this conspiracy nonsense-now that it's Minnesota vs Denver…at least from Denver fans.

  25. The type of defensive mistakes LBJ were making, if he was a role player, would have gotten him benched for a whole quarter. I understand you can make mental errors when you are tired, but LBJ makes those mistakes even when he’s not tired. The coaches have to hold LBJ accountable to do his job on defense. They already try to give him the easiest assignment every night. The least he can do is not blow a coverage. It doesn’t require him to be athletic, just respect your primary defensive assignment. LBJ was too in a hurry to help, when AD was already in help position. Makes me wonder if this all had to do with the coach not having these players practice enough to make the right reads. It’s like miscommunications between LBJ and AD happen 2-3 times every game. It’s absolutely insane!!!
