Brandon Ingram spoke after the New Orleans Pelicans were swept out of the NBA Playoffs and it was very insightful. But Jake Madison is worried about something Ingram said in regards to the Pels and three-point shooting. But while he is worried he says Ingram said a lot to make Pels fans excited about his pairing with Zion Williamson as well.

Not disagreeing, but what real contenders have a true point guard? Nuggets don't have one, Celtics don't have one…OKC, Clippers…no true PG. You got Luka and Brunson doing their thing…but neither them are going to the finals. They'll lose to those teams that don't have a point guard. My point is, it would be nice to have one but not necessary.

Maybe BI is just better suited in a different offensive scheme, one similar to when Jrue and Lonzo were around. Zion either drives and shoots or drives and kicks, usually to the corners. That isnt a point guard. BI never seems comfortable with Z.

Honestly, BI holds all the cards. Even if Griff offers the farm, all he has to do is say, "no'. Then, he can sit back and watch us play the 'AD Game' all over again. Only thing is, the return the team gets won't be nearly as rich (which won't matter much…look at we have today to show for the AD trade).

Zion is the only player from the 2019 lottery that hasn’t played a single minute in the playoffs. But this is who they want to build around. Makes no sense to me!
I think keeping BI is minimizing the teams effectiveness by keeping Trey on the Bench. More BI = less Trey. The talent/money needs to be better spread through the positions. 4 of our top 5 guys play 3 of the 5 positions.

BI and CJ need to be traded and JV should be a bench player if he returns. Larry has to go as well. Our vets let us down and cocky OKC will lose next round series. Jake wont go after Willie but his coaching cost this team dearly and he should go as well. No need to talk any more, trade BI and CJ asap an hire a new head coach.
Jake , please get off the three point thing! The three pointer is the worst percentage shot in basketball. This team needs to commit to DEFENSE and build your offense around Zion!

Brandon and Zion may be the best passers on the team which says to me they could have a very good 2 man game. I don't know how much the pels have looked at this as an option. I think if that became an option then the play between both could become more natural in the regular flow. I don't remember a player ever who is as good as Z who has been so unselfish. Z is willing to take a back seat if he thinks that's what the team needs but typically they need him to be the number 1 scoring option. Brandon probably shouldn't have made those comments on camera because of all the negative press Z is probably a bit sensitive to any thing that puts him in a bad light when it comes to the cameras…. Notice Z comments are always positive about any specific player. Much respect to Zion.

It’s not Ingram don’t wanna shoot 3. He’s just don’t wanna shoot bad 3. Opponent team doubled him. How he shoot 3??? Willie need BI to be facilitator and no one pass him when he’s open at 3 cuz no point guard.
Point Zion can’t be played over 82 games. Everytime he start point Zion mode, he gets hurt after maybe 10 games.
