Kris Murray needs to spend the Summer playing against his Brother and find a way to get his 3 Points stroke back. At 23 years of age he looked more like a 19 year than Scoot. I like him but I rate, Camera 1st, Jabari 2nd, Kris 3rd.
Personally I’d trade any of the 3 or all 3 for someone that can shoot the 3. The 3 players mentioned are lane cloggers. Sure Murray and Camara can cut to the hoop but if they can’t develop a 3 point shot to keep defenders honest The Center and Power forward positions will be collapsed on and won’t be as effective in the paint. Portland needs more shooters with basketball smarts.
I saw a video the other day and the guy was like throwing in Rupert just to make space. NO! This young guy could actually blow up. I'm not saying it's a sure thing but I want to wait and see. If Murray has to go I can deal but next year.
How much of these player’s inconsistencies are due to CB’s anemic offensive-defensive schemes?
