This is what happens when three individual scorers get thrown together with no PG, an injury history longer than the Great Wall of China and all the depth of a rain puddle. The Suns traded their depth away for three guys that are just not a natural fit together and got rid of the one player (CP3) who might have tied it all together.

"they need a point guard" – Phoenix had one. He may not be the same CP3 he was years ago, but he's still better than 75% of point guards in the NBA. But they got rid of a point guard who maximized Booker's play.. and traded it for a scorer in Beal. Thats on management and ownership.

I've been watching the NBA a long time. This always happens to older teams. Doug Collins said it best 25 years ago. He was calling the Lakers-Rockets series. The Lakers had teenage Kobe, 20 something Shaq, and young Rick Fox. Houston had Barkley, Pippen, and Drexler running out the string. "There is no substitute for young, fresh, athletic legs!"

Phoenix needs them Dawgs back! I knew back when the trade for KD happened. Mikal and Cam were the duo keeping the chemistry up, Paul was leading the rock, Booker was doing what he does, we just needed rebounders and rim protection! Instead we went all offense and benched our defensive guys! 😂 Those are coaches and GM decisions. Just saying. Even now, could be right players and the wrong coach for this group! Or the right coach and wrong players! 😂 We'll see, because I've read the owner is meddling in the front office decision making. Like that micromanaging boss at work! Always over your shoulder telling you the right way to do things. 😂 That can bring a teams morale down too.
