Ngl, I feel bad for the Heat. I don't think they would've beaten Boston even if they were healthy, but it definitely would've been more competitive if Jimmy and Rozier were healthy, at least. As for the Heat fans, they are hypocrites for criticizing Celtics fans for celebrating victory over their injured team even though they chanted "we want Boston" after beating the mediocre Bulls. Overall, the Heat need to blow it up. Even if they made (a) big move(s) this off-season, I still don't think they would be good enough to be true contenders. Jimmy's age and his health mean that he can't be a #1 option, and neither Bam nor Herro can lead this team anywhere. Trade them all and start the rebuild.
I know I didn’t just hear a man try to compare Tatum getting hurt in game 7 to Heat not having Butler and Rozier the WHOLE series. On top of by the end of game 5 Heat had a total of like 7 players. Celtics took care of business against the Heat just like they should have with the injuries. But the 2 situations from last year to this year are definitely not comparable
The thing is the heat have been making crazy finals runs while having a team that isn’t supposed to go that far, ofc we want to win the finals but shit we be ending up the best the East has to offer. The front office does need to do more but they aren’t just doing nothing. We couldn’t land a star guard in the offseason and we’ve been missing the impact of a legit big since the 2020 finals.
