The nuggets were bored with the Lakers but needed 2 buzzer beaters to win?
Jason stop interrupting your guest. You even interrupted his outro lmaoo cmon man.
This dude just never learns. Chose Phoenix over Minnesota and now Denver over Minn. The NBA gods are waiting to smite you bro.
Wolves in 6
I think you guys are forgetting who multiple national media compared Ant to after the Phoenix Suns serious. No one on Denver is going to be able to guard him!
Naz Reid
It's cute to think you can put KCP on KAT
Twolves in 5! You guys will eat your words. Did you not learn from last series?
Denver dominated the rebounding….. But 1 of the 4 games played was literally without all 3 of our big men, And we still almost won without Rudy, kat, AND Naz
If you eliminate that outlier, I believe we still win the rebound war, iirc
Mailbag question: What do you think about the idea of putting MPJ on KAT? This frees up Gordon to guard Ant while still keeping length on the backline. MPJ has been a pretty good rebounder and i wonder if he can hold up on KAT.
20 minutes in and they finally mentioned Ant. Interesting analysis
Wolves have the best defense, best defensive player, and 6th man of the year. Wolves in 6
Dude, how can we remotely take you seriously when you say things like, "the Timberwolves have as much of a chance as the Lakers", when you actually predicted Phoenix to take teh series against the Timberwolves. In case you need a reminder the Wolves won 4-0!!!!!!!!
For the record, Denver on their championship run essentially had one of the easiest runs in history. They beat the Wolves without Reid and McDaniels (8 seed), Phoenix in 6 (a worse team than the Wolves just smoked in 4), the Lakers with NO supporting cast (7 seed by the way), and Miami (8 seed who played like crap in the finals last year).
Denver hasn't played a team nearly as good as the Wolves in the playoffs in the last 2 years.
NOT EVEN CLOSE.
Also, all the Wolves-Nuggets stats you referenced are complete trash. You are referencing rebounds when KAT didn't play for 3 entire games. Indeed, the Wolves almost beat the Nuggets minus Gobert/KAT/Naz Reid.
Wolves in 6.
Wolves in 4
Could you be bigger homers didn’t you guys pick phoenix to beat the wolves?
Love this collab!
All this hate for denver is unreasonable!
The guy on the left is so lame! He does an analysit, but it's like an analysis predominantly Based on main stream narratives, it's like he likes to always play it safe while he's trying to show others he ”knows" basketball.
Based collab
This was unbearable. Had to leave at- “if they get a cross match with Gobert guarding Joker….” 🤦🏽♂️
Where's Dane Moore at?
The lakers are better in terms of offense against denver. To me the only problem that the lakers have is that they didnt capitalized their personnel. Most of their free agent signing lost in the rotation and rui and austin is not playing like 2023 playoffs. Personnel wise, the wolves can match up with the nuggest. This series is between nuggest offense and wolves defense. I think nuggest in 6 but if it go 7 games then wolves is winning
Great back and forth! But I think the wolves have a real chance at this one. Last series wasn't really a close one because of the clutch in game 3. But wolves now have Jaden and Naz and Denver have lost Brown and Jeff Green, Ant is a better playmaker and Jamal may not be 100% phisically.
Been following both you guys separately for awhile. This was maybe my favorite basketball podcast/show ever. So many great and interesting points and good insight on the series matchup. You and Adam should do this more often.
You guys gotta do this more often
That’s an awesome collab! Love you both
The Nuggets just looked really off as a team for the whole series, and Jokic looked off quite a lot. Jamal just looked like he couldn't go full speed, most likely the injury. It took some timely individual performances and the much improved star that is MPJ to replace the below normal play of Jokic and Murray.
Been a Nuggets follower since Fat Lever days but I'm sorry to say that I see the Nuggets are gonna lose this series vs the Twolves in 7 or even in 6:-( ..I hope I'm wrong but I feel like it's Minnesota's time …and they're just hungrier man! All of this of course if neither of the teams have any notable injuries.
My two favorite NBA guys all in the same place?! Yes please 👏
Wolves in 4 from the Philippines.
Jamal Murray might get injured mid way into this series , I see wolves defense hounded him a little bit too much. It might be the deciding factor
He seems nice but seems to say '______ is the greatest ____ ever" quite a lot
I thought this is about nuggets wolves but it feels like that is all about Lakers. Feels like i was watching Lakers Tonight!!
Adam is a homer, what a shit breakdown
