I don’t think it’s the boos that get to him. We can be at home, and he still seems to brick a bunch. It’s pretty obviously proportional to the stakes of the game. Fourth quarters in the regular season he was bad too.

The last three years he was perfectly respectable from the line shooting ~76% after struggling before then, then this season he dropped back down to 70% and was Shaq-bad against Miami. Why did he regress? Teams are going to intentionally foul him if he doesn’t improve, which I imagine will only hurt his confidence more.

Y’all are forgetting how bad he botched pivotal moments at the FT line like the last two years in the playoffs. I have always loved JB and I always will but he really can get in his head when it comes to bigger moments. Ofc the numbers aren’t going to show it, but I can’t be the only one who has noticed this right?
